People are finding origami butterflies with ominous messages, scattered on the ground throughout Seattle. The folded papers have a puzzling warning about safety, but no one seems to know who is behind the campaign or what it’s about.
When unfolded, the message “you are not safe,” is revealed and there is a date: 9-28-17. The flip side has illustrations of Russell Wilson, Kurt Cobain, the Starbucks siren, and a message about peace.

Oh, man. It’s clear as day: Russell Wilson is going to kill Kurt Cobain in a Starbucks on the 28th! Wait, Cobain’s already dead. OK, OK, Wilson is going to hold a seance in a Starbucks and conjure up the spirit of Kurt Cobain, who will tell him hand off the frickin’ ball to Marshawn on that last play in the Superbowl. Wait, that’s over too. OK, I got it. The ghosts of Kurt Cobain and Elvis are going to appear in a Starbucks and tell Russell Wilson that the Seahawks are dumbasses for alienating their fans with racist anti-cop crap. Yeah, that’s it...

My DIL is Japanese and before the wedding she made 1001 tiny,shiny gold Origami cranes——which were then strung,with tiny beads,and hung on a tree at the wedding.
Lots of work but quite beautiful.

It was her wedding-——she did the cranes all by herself but shipped them home,(where they were married),and her mother and aunts etc. did all of the stringing and bead work.

Kid about what? I got that Wilson plays for Seattle after a momtn. No idea what Starbucks (do not buy it) or cocaine/cobaine have to do with anything. Maybe in your neck of the woods so it makes sense?

Some of the butterflies had mirror images of the Seattle Skyline - but with the Space Needle missing in one of them.
Pretty amazing the artwork on them. I'm guessing it is a promotional thing for some computer game.
No idea what the cocaine/coabaine reference is about. Must be a Seattle thing.
