More news is coming out this morning on Stephen Paddocks, and it is not as cut and dried as I thought. This is a very complex case, and it seems everyone is reporting different aspects of the worst mass shooting in the history of the United States.
Paddocks did not act alone. FBI reports there are many significant leads around the world with many flights taken by more than one person all over the world. Possibly, and this is just my opinion, many of Paddocks gambling trips could have been a cover for arms deals and terrorist connections. Was he gunrunner who sold guns to jihadists? The attack could have been worse. I used to sell and install pumps, valves and flow meters for the gas and oil industry (among others). I was making a call to a fuel depot near Detroit and had a conversation with one of their engineers. I was thinking about the stupid hunter who shot up the Alaskan Pipeline a few years before, and he explained the requirements for the storage tanks.
Wow. That explains why ISIS produced the younger image. A Muslim convert of over 30 years. Making dubious stacks of cash. Buying dozens of guns. Scoping out numerous venues. And our FBI claims no connection to terrorism within a few hours. Time to fire the entire FBI staff and put some monkeys in FBI suits. They would be just as good and a bigger bang for the buck.

SWAT searches floor by floor for the shooter? This is after they’ve been told by the shot security guard exactly where the killer is located?

Paddock was laundering a lot of money. Casinos ban people who win consistently. He was getting lots of freebies and tender care because he was a valued customer. Valued customers are not customers who cost the casinos a lot of money. He was a “gun nut.” That suggests guns were his business. He made his money with them.
Perhaps his accomplice was to place the tannerite and didn’t perform.

Every mass killer “acted alone” because the Moslems are still a protected population. If a civilian doesn’t discover irrefutable evidence that Paddock was a convert, as Arutz Sheva claims, then maybe it would have to be allowed. Until that point any Islamic connection will be totally avoided, except for the denials.

There's the report of the 4th floor shooter (sliding windows on lower floors), where hitting those tanks might be just a small miss, or deflection from trees between hotel & target.
One problem. Who shot at police from behind door ? Did the first responding officers receive 200 rounds from door ?
Wasn’t it the security guard? He was shot in the leg.
