The other stickler is what has to be in the policies...in particular...birth control.

Everyone I know has always paid for their own birth control. How this came about, I'll never know. It's ridiculous.

Been paying the penalty for the past 6 years. Way cheaper than paying out. Thank You Lord for President Trump. And FU IRS.

Sorry Mr. President, the “EHB’s” (Essential Health Benefits) mandate remains...making it impossible to buy a high deductible policy at a reasonable rate. Also, the individual mandate doesn’t go away until 2019 and then policy premiums will skyrocket even more as people leave the pool. And what about the employer mandate?

Obamacare has absolutely NOT been repealed. We still have:

*The employer mandate
*The Medicaid expansion
*The government subsidized obamacare plans on the exchanges
*The “shall-issue” mandate that people with pre-existing conditions have to be issued coverage
*The regulation than older sick people can’t be charged more than 3x what young healthy people are charged.
* All the other non-essential things that plans are required to cover whether you want them or not: substance abuse, mental health, preventative care, etc.

In the beginning, before Obama & the Dems created compldete chaos in the nation’s health care system, we kept hearing the numbers:

“10 million Americans have no health care”.

I believe that many counted in that number were illegals, and that number was inflated.

However-—IF there were 10 million true Americans without ‘health care’, I contend that this would have been a better plan that Obamacare:

FEDERAL clinics could have been set up in areas all across the country. Homeless or very poor or unemployable persons needing health care could come in & get BASIC health care in these clinics.

That would have left the formerly existing health care system that had worked for years for American who work or who also employ others could have been left alone.

NO MANDATE-—

NO outrageous CODING for every broken fingernail—

NO outrageous co-pay amounts that often amounted to more than 50% of a persons GROSS income———

No ‘subsidies’ to low income persons...which amounted to money paid on behalf of a low income person being paid by a higher income person....

NO ‘EVERYONE’S RECORDS electronically available’ to the whole world of hackers.

There were other impossible parts of Obamacare-—

But I still feel all these years later that it could have been solved by Federal/State clinics that were walk in & BASIC medicine. It would also have taken the pressure off the hospital emergency rooms.

People who refuse to take care of themselves could have been weeded out by local people seeing them often enough to recognize them for fraudulent problems.

Right.

I just still have the $6,800 deductible , up from $ 500 bucks before Obamacare.

This is going to get ugly.
