How The Deep State Plans To Kill Economic Freedom

Two hundred and forty-one years ago, this country was wrestled away from the tyrannical forces of the British Empire. The United States founders planted the seeds of enlightenment principals that have lasted all these years later. Enlightenment principals include things such as freedom of thought, freedom of speech, freedom of religion, the right to defend yourself and the overall ownership of yourself. Basically, these principals protect individuals from oppressive government rule. These ideas also manifested in the form of economic freedom, in which you are free to carve out your own path by making voluntary transactions. Unfortunately, governments stand in opposition to all freedoms, including economic freedom. Now, economic freedom is in severe danger of being lost.

An attack on our freedoms should not come as a surprise. Freedom is always fleeting and must be fought for to be maintained.

People don’t bother with editors anymore.

What makes this even worse, is that most people don’t learn their own language truly thoroughly in a school system. Spelling, grammar, clear exposition — the schools are not very good and communicating these lessons. Therefore, people pick up the nuances of their own language by reading. In the past, people learned English by reading the newspaper. Or magazines, or good books. Editors kept writers and readers on the straight and narrow.

Today, readers browse blogs on the web and find out that anything goes for spelling, grammar and exposition.

It’s all downhill from here. The blind leading the blind.

Even the best writers need proof-readers; and the best ones KNOW it.

From Wikipedia:

In the field of psychology, the Dunning–Kruger effect is a cognitive bias wherein people of low ability suffer from illusory superiority, mistakenly assessing their cognitive ability as greater than it is.

Special snow flakes have a big problem with this. They are all above average, they are all smarter than you, and they certainly don't need an editor, because they write gooder than any editor.

I believe the correct term is "gooderer."

To be honest I'm quite pleased with the quality of grammar to be found in forums now compared to the 90's and 00's. For a while there I feared it would trend further in the l33tspeak direction but thankfully common sense prevailed. People found they weren't taken seriously unless they wrote properly, and they get lots more practice writing nowadays which has vastly improved average spelling ability.
