I cooked up a little Star Wars meme concerning one of the new Horrible characters in the new "Last Jedi" Movie.
If you saw the movie and hated it, maybe this will put a smile on your face!
The Last Jedi is an SJW train wreck that may have killed the franchise. See http://comicbook.com/starwars/2016/11/29/lucasfilm-president-kathleen-kennedy-says-she-doesnt-need-to-cat/ for some evidence. And I could have even tolerated that if the movie didn’t have so many plot holes, fail to resolve any of the intriguing questions raised by The Force Returns, copped out on so many opportunities, etc. Just go to YouTube for endless rundowns of why it sucks.

Chill, dude. I saw it with my family. All 3 generations loved it. And yeah, I own all of the movies.
Ladies and Gentlemen I present you RedLetterMedia's The Last Jedi review.
Boy did they say what I was thinking.
There’s “Hostiles On The Hill”

(I wish I wasn’t so dang sweet.)
See also https://youtu.be/i0biqMZrxJ0 There’s lots more but this is direct from Mr. Mark Hamill aka Luke.
Imho Laura Dern was supposed to be Hillary. It’s obvious that idiot blonde general was supposed to be Trump.
Wow, sometimes I wonder if I watched the same movie as everyone else.
This character had a brief role, but wasn’t created for the movie. Holdo was a childhood friend of Leia’s.
And she made arguably the most heroic and impactful sacrifice of any Rebel character in the entire anthology.
Its not even just the SJW mess that ruined it, it was just a bad Star Wars movie.
Like I said, could have tolerated the SJW junk if the movie didn’t otherwise suck. After all I know what to expect out of Hollywood.
Me too - and I just got back from watching it with the family.
With all the negative press, I kept waiting for the movie to get bad.
FWIW - it didn’t.
Adminral Holdo’s sacrifice was possibly the most redeeming and inspiring part of the movie.
But why didn’t she explain her plan to Poe? Why didn’t they use some form of autopilot? Why hasn’t that tactic - which per physics would take out any Death Star or Star Killer Base - ever been used before? (Note: per cannon shields don’t work against light speed objects.) How does an untrained Rey match up with a trained Kylo Ren? How does the utter bad### Snoke who has complete mastery of the Force let himself be cut down by a simple telekinesis trick? Why does Luke, who surrendered himself to the Empire in RTJ because he saw some good in Darth Freaking Vader, consider killing his best friend’s son who happens to be his nephew because there might be some dark in him? Why does Luke, who is clearly a Jedi extraordinaire, wimp out and not show up physically to save the rebels? How did Leia become Space Superman with no training? Who are Rey’s parents and who is Snoke? Oh, nobody and nothing. Screw two years of fans talking about those issues. After all, who cares what fans think - esp Ms Kennedy with respect to male fans (see link in an above comment).
I could go on and on, but think that’s enough to make the point.
Ok will go on a little more:
Did you notice all white guys are evil, all other guys are evil or stupid, the only black character is a kind of stupid former janitor (talk about racist) who is blocked when trying to perform a truly valiant act by a random character, and all women except for the Storm Trooper bad### Phasma - whom they simply wiped out randomly - are smarter and good?
On the plus side, I really like Rey. Think Daisy Ridley does an excellent job portraying here especially given the limited material. She also learned some truly skilled martial arts in the real world in prep for her role. That’s a ton of hard work and she deserves massive props for that. (Sword work is not easy. I know. Have over 10 years experience. She’s better than me.) Fin is also a good character, although treated poorly. Phasma was portrayed by Gwendoline Christie, an incredible actress. Wish they’d have done more with her.
Only after about 2/3s of the Rebel fleet had been destroyed.
Faster than light speed objects*
