Chain of Fools

The “story” of President Trump calling Haiti a “s***hole” in his meeting on immigration reform originally emerged in the WaPo who cited “several people briefed on the meeting” -  i.e. they weren’t there. Then Dick Durban – the only Democrat in attendance - held a press conference to confirm the reports in the WaPo and further embellish the story with his own flourishes, adding this unique interpretation of “chain migration”:

Durbin said the president used the word "shithole" to describe African and Latin American countries "not just once but repeatedly," and asked why current illegal immigrants should be given the right to bring their families with them, so-called' Chain Migration.'

Durbin continued: "When it came to the issue of, quote, 'chain migration,' I said to the president, do you realize how painful that term is to so many people? African-Americans believe they migrated to America in chains and when you talk about chain migration, it hurts them personally."

Does Dick even know what a fool he sounds like? Aretha Franklin, well known racist, weighs in:

Oh, one of these mornings
The chain is gonna break
But up until the day
I'm gonna take all I can take, oh babe
So let’s review: the original allegation came from unidentified sources who weren’t in the meeting, it was collaborated by Dick Turbin Durbin who has a history of histrionic mendacity, and then dropped into the MSM echo chamber for use as a weapon for mass distribution. It’s beginning to smell like desperation. They have found themselves with only one arrow left in the quiver and it’s the race card.
one arrow
And when the one arrow left has a dull tip from repeated use it might not stick in the target anymore.
Ironically the party that invented the soft bigotry of low expectations. the party that has actively worked to keep minorities economically shackled to leftist ideology and welfare handouts has the audacity to tell us that chain migration refers to the shackles of slavery. They might have taken all they can take; one of these mornings the chain is gonna break.
one arrow left in quiverGetting close to drawing their last arrow and it looks like full-on cultural appropriation

Oh, come on. Drop the pretense. Haiti is a s***hole by virtually any interpretation of the word. Compare the eastern half of that island to the western half and you can see the ultimate result of unchecked political corruption. Their plight has been brought on by decades of political abuse, starting with Papa Doc and continuing to this day. Any form of external aid to that country gets siphoned off into Swiss accounts before any peasant has a chance. Why in the world would we step up and volunteer to accept their problems. The American public is tired of supporting deadbeats, both foreign and domestic...period.

I said to the president, do you realize how painful that term is to so many people? African-Americans believe they migrated to America in chains and when you talk about chain migration, it hurts them personally.

Give me a break! By that logic, a sign on reading "chains required" on a snow-covered highway is a racial slur.

that is a fact. anyone who has flown back from Puerto Rico to let’s say Texas flies directly over Dom Republic and Haiti. on a clear day it’s amazing! the eastern half is lush green with forests and white sand and crystal water. at mid point over the island a straight line cuts across and everything west of that line literally looks like a massive city garbage dump!! not kidding or stretching the truth here. google it.

Gross hypocrisy by the Democrats. There are Red States they wouldn’t set foot in because they are rural and they consider them to be s***holes even if they won’t say it.

And Mrs. Bill Clinton insulted half of all Americans by saying they are “deplorable’.

Durbin is a Jerk. His chains” comment is laughable.

Last I knew MEXICANS were never brought here “in chains”.

The chain migration problem is OVERWHELMINGLY from Mexico.

Chain migration from African countries is minuscule in comparison.

This is all about Dems being SCARED TO DEATH that Republicans/Trump will siphon off some of the Black vote.

I think that train has left the station, heading down the track, picking up momentum as it heads to it’s destination.

I’ve spent 6 months in Haiti. It’s a shithole. As a new nation when they threw off the colonial french, they actually made a pact publicly with the devil. It has been down hill since them. In the 1980s you could heat the voodoo drums in the jungle at night.

You could have someone killed there for ten bucks.

In all my travels, Haiti was the worst in the world.

Well, if “chain migration” is frightening black people, maybe there is another reason for it. Maybe they know very well what it means and don’t want people taking entry-level jobs away from their kids. Either way, for their sake, it’s time to end chain migration. If it saves only one black person from a mental breakdown or stress-induced heart attack!

What if we called it something refreshing, like “Daisy Chain Migration”? Would they object to some hidden meaning of that phrase?

I say, let’s call it “Tag Team” migration. Everyone can understand that, right?

Even the Haitians can’t stand Haiti. If the Democrats think Haiti is such a great place, why not send them back?

Durbin’s characterization of black Americans sensitivities to the “chain” analogy is not even backed up by any black Americans nor does he bother to quote any black Americans that they do, indeed, even feel this way. Totally made up !liberal PC BS.
