A lot of people on our side are upset that yet another federal judge has usurped the Executive Branch's authority again. Unfortunately for the Left and open-borders activists, this ruling does nothing but destroy their plans, and is a huge win, albeit unintentionally, for Trump:
Trump's decision not to appeal the ruling shows just what a brilliant and strategic genius he is. His appeal would have went through the 9th Circuit, where it would have lost. It then would have been appealed again to SCOTUS and it probably wouldn't be ruled on until sometime in 2019.
1) States are now free to file suit against DACA. DACA is blatantly illegal and unconstitutionally. It will not go through the 9th Circuit. It will go through a different venue which it will have favorable hearing and DACA will be smacked down by the mid-terms.
2) Trump is now not obligated to help the Dreamers. See, he tried to make a deal that would have helped the Dreamers and kept his promise to the people who voted for him, but this judge (and Durbin) completed overplayed their hand. Even I, as well as many people on our side, was OK with giving a limited number of Dreamers citizenship, just as long as the border wall was funded/constructed, chain migration eliminated, and the visa lottery ended. (I would go further, and toss in eliminating birth-right citizenship, mandatory E-verify, no sanctuary cities/states, English the official language, and no taxpayer funds or programs spent on illegals - and that's all funded and implemented BEFORE any discussion is made on the Dreamers).
3) The Democrats have been completely exposed as the open-border globalists they are. They did not negotiate in good faith, per the leaked memo from Center for American Progress last week. If DACA was implemented, what's to stop the Left from using the courts and their front activist groups to kill any deal and continue the suicide of this country?
4) The Dreamers still have to register for this program. That means they have to provide their full name, address, and other documents in order to enroll in DACA. My opinion is that many of these so-called Dreamers aren't going to do this, and will remain underground. So any further discussions will only bolster Trump's claim that they aren't here to assimilate and be proud Americans.

Did I miss something? I haven’t seen that in 40 plus years, What I have seen here in SoCal is the creation of the same shithole enclaves they ran away from South of the border.
This is industrial grade spin. The Rats refused to negotiate because the renegade Judge took away Trump’s leverage in the middle of the negotiations. Unless the Judge is overturned the “dreamers” cannot be made to leave. I see no movement to have this punks decision tossed none.
There were also pending suits to declare the Dreamer program illegal. Those suits should now continue and the Justice Department should concede to the plaintiffs that DACA is illegal and get a judgment against the program.
Also, the judge’s order only covers DACA applicants who missed the previous deadline. It does NOT cover new applicants.

Since Obama created DACA in 2012, a total of 800,000 people received DACA approvals. Of those, 45,447 were approved for advanced parole, 39,514 have received green cards, and 1,056 have become U.S. citizens, according to U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services data released by Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley.
Do a home visit with each renewal and arrest any illegal aliens at that location not covered. No more don’t ask, don’t tell, no more catch and release.
You can probably expect maybe 20% of the dreamers to actually register so Trump will quietly be finding and deporting the others.

Time to BREAK UP the 9th Circus! Let them rule California and Hawaii. Maybe throw in Washington and Oregon, but only if necessary.
