A year into his presidency, disputes over the president’s views and rhetoric about religious and racial minorities continue to hamper his policies.
Days after Donald Trump was accused of using racially charged language during bipartisan immigration talks, charges of bigotry once again threatened the president’s agenda as lawmakers battled Sunday over his choice of words and his intentions.
Rep. John Lewis (D-Ga.), a civil rights icon and frequent critic of the president, said Trump is “a racist.” Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) said it was not “constructive” for Trump to have referred to African and other countries as “shitholes” but that it was “unfair” to call him racist.
Meanwhile, lawmakers were still squabbling about what Trump said in the first place. Two Republicans present at the Thursday meeting, Sens. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.) and David Perdue (R-Ga.), contradicted the accounts of Sens. Dick Durbin (D-Ill.) and Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), drawing a rebuke from Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) for attacking Durbin’s integrity.
And after courts last year used the president’s negative comments about Muslims to reject his attempts to implement travel restrictions, a federal judge who temporarily reinstated the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program said Friday it was “plausible” that Trump acted for racial reasons when he ended the Obama-era initiative.

I never knew that “Sh1th013” was a racist term.
Let’s start here. Trump did not say those words. Dick Durbin, a notorious liar said Trump said “shit hole.” Jeff Flake, a person not in the meeting backs up Dick and probably likes Dick a bit too much.
Others in the meeting said Trump did no use those words.
Where we are now is a scandal based on a lie.

Please, President Trump, stand firm and let the Dems and Rino’s shut down the gov. I was in the military during previous shutdowns, our military will continue to serve proudly even if it hurts for a while.

I’d vote for Trump again in a second. However, if the House and Senate change hands, we may well not get there.

The unflattering term is quite descriptive of certain areas in the so called third world. Those who wish to claim President Trump would have been “racist” to apply this term actually indict themselves!
If Trump had used such a term, he certainly didn’t ascribe a reason for the conditions. One can only assume that those who assume the term is racist have already concluded that the conditions themselves are a result of race. Q.E.D.

PC is about a fiction that all things are struggles for power between groups: the oppressors and the oppressed. PC seeks inversion, to break things differently than PC claims they have been broken ... not reconcilaition or correction.
This ideology abhors rational thought, elevates and sensationalizes sentimentality in its worst forms, and pigeonholes people by facts about them rather than who they actually are,what they do or believe.
PC goes one stupid beyond the wickedness of trading in corruptions of blood but it also supports what might be called working justifications of blood: that if someone is part of a victim group they are justified and exonerated if they act up or act out.
PC is about tearing down, not building up.
I am old enough to remember when judges ruled on what the law says and not on the reasons the President had for his use of said law.
The countries lack an effective sewer system, so that’s literally true. Second, crime in third world countries is so bad I call them hell holes.
Trump has committed the Crime of Noticing and has the temerity to actually say something.
The only conclusion we the public can draw is that massive third-world immigration into America is a deliberate policy and that the corresponding increase in violent crimes, rapes, and murders against Americans is a deliberate and acceptable consequence of those who have engineered the importation of these shitbags as their voter base.
