Federal prosecutors in Oregon have responded to Jason Patrick's motion in connection with the Oregon Standoff case.
They claim Bunkerville evidence is not related to the Oregon protest.
Patrick is seeking a delay in sentencing, release from jail and discovery of hidden evidence that emerged in the Bunkerville case including the threat asssessments that pointed to little or no danger being posed by the Bundy's and their supporters at Bunkerville.
Patrick is set to be sentenced in connection with his convictions in connection with the Oregon Standoff protest on Thursday February 15th.
Patrick was convicted in the second Oregon Standoff trial which was rigged with limitation of the defense case by US District Judge Anna J. Brown. Prosecutors tacked misdemeanor charges onto the felony ones and Judge Brown herself held a bench trial on those charges not allowing a jury to decide.
Shortly after he was convicted last year Patrick turned himself in and has been jailed for some 10 months. Last year Judge Brown rejected his request for release.
