California Lt. Governor Gavin Newson (D), now running for governor, says the #MeToo movement doesn’t apply to his affair with a female staffer who was married to his chief campaign adviser.

(snip)

“California's lieutenant governor became the subject of national headlines in February 2007 when it was revealed he had a brief affair with a subordinate, Ruby Rippey-Tourk, who was also the wife of his chief campaign adviser. At the time, Newsom was separated from his first wife, Kimberly Guilfoyle, now a Fox News host.”

Complete title: Dem: #MeToo Applies to 'Deeper Issues’ Than His Affair with Subordinate Married to His Campaign Adviser

Yeah, I suppose #MeToo doesn't apply here because no force was involved. All he did was boink the wife of his campaign adviser. I wonder how the press would treat this if President Trump were accused of having an affair with the wife of HIS campaign adviser?

Rippey tourk?
Sounds like something a stripper would use as a stage name.

Well, at least it wasn’t something like “Shayquanda” or some similar invented name that was given as much thought as a PlayStation Network handle.

This is almost like a soap opera. Newsomes out running around, so is Kimberly Guilfoyle. Guess give them credit, especially with the San Francisco connection, that it is not homosexual. It seems like all these folks are in open marriages or relationships and probably just afraid to say so. Wonder what the result would be?

If it weren’t for double standards, democrats would have no standards at all.

Not every metoo complaint is about force. In the case of a short affair with a married subbordinate, one must wonder if she was influenced by job security.

We really need to awaken to the FACT that the Media and the Dems (but I am being redundant) DON’T CARE ABOUT ANY BAD NEWS WHEN IT IS THEIR CANDIDATE. Dems can do ANTHING and will still be viable candidates for ANY office.
