It’s time for the government to up its security and start prosecuting people for making threats. If the left wants to fight a war against Trump they ought to be met first by Secret Service, Capitol Police, U.S. Marshals and the National Guard.
I know a misguided youngster who describes “getting frosty” when using cocaine. No big deal, but I thought of that when I saw the title.
They already upped it to guns- ask Congrssman Scalise.
Criminal charges are in order. Threats and intimidation, assault, (no need to touch, just reasonavle fear they will) for starters.
Mr. Woods has done his best to call for using “legal” means to push these leftists back. Most will heed his suggestions and continue writing letters no one reads, posting emails that are read by a computer and erased when keywords are found and praying even more than we already do.
But some - a negligible but important few - will steel their resolve and take a lesson from the Mexican drug cartels and begin eliminating a few key leftists. Soon television will be seriously short of “progressive” commentators and politicians who occupy offices in State, County and city governments will retire “to spend more time with their families.”
Federal politicians will get taxpayer-paid protection of course, but City Councilmen will have to provide their own bodyguards who will then become targets! The situation was foreseen vividly by Matt Bracken in his short story “What I Saw at the Coup.” It’ll be nasty but it’ll be effective. Especially when the perpetrators disappear like smoke in the wind.
Do I look forward to all this? No, not when my children and their children will have to live through it. But if it doesn’t occur in some form they’ll probably not live through a leftist America.

I believe we have already passed the point where criminal charges can be effective. We live under "pretense-of-law". Too many criminals have reached command positions in all of our major institutions and they will not be easily or voluntarily removed.
I believe that these matters will be resolved by force.
The factions that are most effective at organized violence are going to win. It is not yet clear who they will be.
One Trident Sub can ruin a leftist’s whole day.

Just as it did at Lexington, the militia will own the day.
But the founders had a key advantage that we don’t ... their militia was organized. The Minutemen were trained and prepared for the fateful day when the call went out.
Our “militia” has been transmogrified into the National Guard (read: Army Reserve) while the traditional militia of armed citizens has been lost in the mists of history.
Lots of us are armed but few are organized and leadership is lacking. That might need to change, and soon.
