Senior US District Judge Robert E. Jones (Age 91) opened the trial of FBI Agent W. Joseph Astarita by telling jurors to avoid social media and telling them the case is about three charges related to lying against Astarita and not the killing of LaVoy Finicum, the Oregon Standoff protester Jones called a "militia leader"...

The FBI must be smashed to pieces and re-made into a new agency. It cannot continue in its present form. It tried to enact and enable a coup against our President and the American voters.

While I would not disagree with your observation, the Oregon State Police seem to have a problem as well. Perhaps the two groups fed off each other.

It seems to me that there is a greater need, and a greater constitutional justification, for a layer of law enforcement above the county level at the State level then there is for one at the federal level. In practice, three layers of law enforcement would seem to be too much.

I'm going to transpose the order of the last few words...

In a republic the right of an eligible citizen to have his vote accurately counted is a republics very foundation and must be treated a sacred right, protected at all costs and with force of arms if necessary, else we have nothing more than Venezuela, Zimbabwe, the USSR, etc.

The president is but a transient governor of the republic, the electorate must be sovereign.

It is true that corrupt men in the legislature and courts, from the smallest towns to the federal aided by an apathetic and ill informed populous have lead us to this perilous moment.

If we are to survive as free republic justice must be done and must be seen to have been done. Nothing less than mass trials of these coup plotters and their abettors in the media must occur, along the lines of the Itatian Mafia trials or Nuremberg. While the trials would take sometime, it is necessary to expose the breadth and depth to the American citizenry. Don't recall any compliants on that score about Watergate coverup.

I've always thought that the representation of Lady Justice as blindfolded as a misguided symbol of impatiality. Blinded how could she seem the balance scale. Long past time to strip the blindfold and open her eyes to those that corrupt the truth. Note too that the sword is not sheathed, but at the ready...time to swing it, lest this republic fall.
