I’ll just say, Thank You to John McCain for appointing Sarah Palin as his running mate.

That was a very good thing.

Sincerely,

Me

Conservative voter goes in McCain’s office on Monday and asks to see John McCain, the staff member tells the voter that Senator McCain has passed away. The voter just stands there for a few minutes then leaves.

The next morning the same voter is back and asks to talk to Senator McCain. The staffer tells the voter that McCain is dead, he died of brain cancer. The voter just stands there for a few minutes then leaves.

Wednesday morning the voter is back again and asks, with a big smile on his face, I’d like to talk to John McCain. By now the staffer has lost patience, and says McCain is dead, he is toast, he is never coming back, and then proceeds to ask the voter why he keep coming into the office and asking to talk to McCain if he knows McCain is dead.

The voter has a big smile on his face and says he just likes hearing the words ‘McCain is dead!’.

And not a moment too soon....

The coming “state funeral” and the gushing of mediots over the maverick is going to be nauseating.

Second that. Although McCain recently said that he was sorry he didn't pick Senator Joseph Lieberman instead.

I will not. McCain was the globalist supporter of the Yazidi genocide designated to lose. He never defended Palin from the things that came their way, and he derailed her promising career.

I didn't vote for McCain. He was doing his level best to accelerate illegal immigration and supplant American voters with Muslims and criminals.

Palin without McCain would have been a candidate I would have gotten behind. Particularly had she gotten more experience serving in Alaska. I think she might have beaten Romney in the 2112 primaries. I also believe the Fabians thought so as well, and that the entire purpose for picking her was to damage her.

For the record, I came to this conclusion at the time. Why else was the mud slinging aimed at the vice presidential candidate, rather than the presidential candidate? It was contrived, and it served the purpose for which it was designed.

This should give me plenty of time to tear off my back deck, spray for termites, then build a new deck back there. John McCain is with his spiritual father.

John Kerry did serve (only 96 days, including leave, R&R, indoc training, and office time) in Vietnam. Kerry then left Vietnam early to go campaign in the Senate office in Massachusetts.

Well, McCain walked into Annapolis in the 1960’s based on his father’s rank (Admiral, aviation, USN, Korean War and PACFLT), and his grandfather’s rank (Admiral, USN aviation, WWII). He had four terrible years at Annapolis, graduating near the bottom of his class - again saved only by his father’s rank and his grandfather’s rank.

Once graduated, he had a terrible US Navy reputation as a drunk, a troublemaker, with many punishments and criticisms for insubordination and lack of discipline (driving, acting up, disorderly, etc.) John McCain was a terrible flyer - but was a Cold War ace pilot (for Russia): He got shot down in, burned up, crashed (in Spain, while showing off at low altitude), destroyed or ejected from five enemy (er, US Navy) airplanes.

No one else - without John McCain’s name and connections - would have been retained as an pilot. Few would have even been retained as even an LST deck officer.

I'm trying to decide whether I should show some respect for the dead and refrain from going to the liquor barn and picking up a bottle of Bailey's to celebrate.

...

OK, I'm off to the store. But instead of celebrating his demise, I'll celebrate what I hope will be the ushering in of a new brighter era in our country's history.

He had too. He was going down and picked a conservative woman outsider - then undercut her and said he regretted choosing her.
