As someone who lost a wanted child because the woman involved, who by the way a year later became my wife, decided at the time of the pregnancy college was more important than a baby, I disagree. The baby is just as much the man’s child as the woman’s.

We never had children because of damage done during the abortion. She died 22 years later from aggressive breast cancer which I blame on her abortion at age 20. The pro abortion people like to talk about women’s health. There is nothing healthy about abortion.

Should I really take the time to explain myself so someone who refuses to acknowledge the legally binding rubric by which abortion is permitted in this country?

This is one of the things I can’t stand about American women; they’d rather kill babies with their own hands than give up a crumb of their advantage over men. They’d rather continue championing a lost argument that preserves their “choice” than risk that choice by allowing another approach that accomplished what they claim to want.

The only difference between a pro-life woman and a pro-choice woman is their view on abortion.

You're wrong: women can (and have!) LIED about paternity, the man had no recourse even when DNA tests PROVED the baby was from some other man.

Well-kept secret in the medical field (when testing siblings as transplant donors) -- about 10% of children within *married* couples are the result of female infidelity.

Require DNA testing of ALL children at birth.

Should Abortion Be Only A Woman's Choice Or Should Men Have Reproductive Rights Too? live stream

If only women are allowed to choose whether they have an abortion then they should have to have a license in order to have sex if they want to get pregnant out of wedlock then kill an innocent child who had no chance to live then the abortion should be paid for by the woman not the institute killing the child or the taxpayer

If the taxpayer is paying for the Abortion then its not truly a choice its like obamacare its a tax that a citizen should not have to pay

Make a woman have to pay for a license to have sex either a marriage license to be married or a procreation license yearly in the sum of how many children the woman thinks she may abort and the license should be paid by the woman period

Hell they want to murder children make them pay for it quit sucking money from the government

From what i see men don't have any rights one way or another in the situation anyway murder is murder and if a man gives the nod to kill his child hes just as guilty it's amazing we can keep people on death row for murdering someone or many someones for that matter but they are more than willing to kill an innocent child and for what reason ?

Because they can or its convienent !

Next can of worms:

"Oops" pregnancies, the woman getting pregnant by one man but attributing it to another, women rescuing sperm from a condom and impregnating themselves with it.

Not to mention the get-married-have-a-kid-then-quickie-divorce.

Women are allowed to behave dishonestly, foolishly, and irresponsibly, and men are required to fix the problem AND take the blame.

That's not total victory. But that's life.

No, that’s an attempt to mitigate failure. Every one of those metrics could change tomorrow and “the pro life movement” has secured exactly zero legal recourse to prevent it.

That is exactly what pro baby killers say all the time to try and stop others from telling the truth about their deviant behavior.

No, they say that because there’s no reason to carry on a discussion with someone who thinks making the same failed argument long enough will eventually win.

The Declaration of Independence is the foundational document of the American political philosophy.

USSC has said, in the past, that the Constitution is to be interpreted in the light of the Declaration.

The Declaration begins with the reason why governments are established in the first place. That reason is to secure what are termed "inalienable" rights --- rights not "established," but to be secured, by the Constitution, the Courts, and the other branches of government. And the first of these is Life.

That would constitute an insuperable prohibition of the various forms of homicide, including abortion.

I don't "get" that the human race is divided into two classes, one class having rights one the other, not. Just what confers on government a right to divide the human race into two classes, one with, and the other without, "inalienable" "human" rights?

That is the flaw in any attempt to rationalize abortion via a libertarian philosophy.

That was a philosophical statement rather than a practical one. Of course one must always discuss things that should be perfectly clear from the get-go. Ask any parent.

What I DO NOT understand is WHY IN THE HELL anyone would need an abortion in this day and age, there are HUNDREDS of birth control methods available AND if you can’t afford them MOST states have them available AT NO COST!!! WHY is abortion STILL a YUGE issue??? There should be NO REASON for an unwanted pregnancy today NO REASON AT ALL!!!

What does it matter whether you call life-saving interventions partial victory or mitigated failure? The fact is, the zone of protectable life for all categories can expand or shrink according to our political decisions. Even partial advances in securing human rights, result in somebody living who would otherwise have been poisoned, crushed or decapitated.

Perhaps we'll never do better, on this earth, than "Mourn the dead; fight like hell for the living." But we have a duty to do as well as we can.

Not to the ones on this thread that are making it.

They’re perfectly content to leave it right there.

Read them for yourself!

Yup.

Gynosociety gives zero reproductive rights to men, 100% to women, and still paints women as victims and men with all the power.

I won't stop saying it because it's the truth.

Proclaiming Paul’s Apostolate doesn’t mean you’re not a demon.

What I meant was that, “Nobody has abortion rights,” is a statement of principle that does not allow for negotiation. It is not acceptable for women to have “abortion rights,” while men don’t, but it’s also not acceptable for both men and women to have “abortion rights.” Nobody has the right to kill an innocent human being.

I understand that a lot of people don’t agree. I understand that people who call themselves “science-based” or “evidence-based” contend that that a pre-born human being is something other than a human being, even though they would never say that a kitten is not a cat. Their logic is garbage, and they know their logic is garbage.

I know that you have to go on, to persuade people to accept “science-based” reality.

None of the birth control methods (except sterilization and homicide) is 100% effective at preventing the transmission of life to the next generation. You choose the reproductive act, you inject 300 million live sperm into a normal female reproductive tract, you eventually get reproductive results. Almost half the women opting to kill their kids prenatally, use some form of contraception.

You can get breakthrough ovulation from forgetting one OC pill, once.

Condoms: perhaps you've heard of "wear and tear"? Slip, rip and drip? He said he would but he didn't?

What causes abortion is not normal fertility. What causes abortion is the decision to kill a child before it's born.

I’ve long argued that men should have the choice to opt out of all parental rights AND RESPONSIBILITIES. That would put men and women on equal footing legally.

Oddly, I have yet to encounter a single feminist who supports choice for men. Suddenly its just fine to force somebody to become a parent against their will so long as the one being forced has a y chromosome.
