I’m with the President but I have a lot of respect for Rand and I think the President listens to him.
Same and I am still upset by how horribly injured he was by the neighbor who attacked/assaulted him in Kentucky. Rand's body has yet to make full recovery. I imagine that he has been dealing with a lot of pain. Prayers up.
That would be totally “in the face” of Pelosi.

I’m not understanding why the President wouldn’t agree with Rand to deliver the SOTU in the Senate.

The small Senate chamber cannot provide the optics and energy of the large and crowded House chamber. In addition, after winning the fight for Wall funding, a SOU address to the House would be a prime opportunity to lay out the rest of Trump’s immigration reforms.
Nope....Make it before Congress as a whole....and where Nancy has to be sitting right behind the President...and constantly on camera. THIS is what she doesn’t want.
Offer likely includes AMNESTY or per Trump This-Is-Not-Amnesty-Amnesty. Any DEAL needs to include eVerify, end of catch-and-release, end of chain migration, and NO AMNESTY for any illegal aliens. Why encourage others to rush to America, why reward those that have?

Needs to include vision for 2020-2024:
lower crime due to: low unemployment and enforcement of current immigration laws
Vision for USA:
Strong USA but not the worlds police, bring home soldiers from Afghanistan, Korea, Europe.
Continued development of oil reserves to build economy and eliminate any future dependence on foreign sources.
Free virtual college for all (stem degrees), computer science, nursing, and the like.
Competitive health care system modeled after home and auto insurance.
Reducing the size and scope of Federal Government by 1/3!

I agree....Last year they booed and refused to stand when the President was on the move.
Is there anything wrong with checking if someone speaks English or not, then, if not, asking them about their legal right to be in the US. English is unfortunately not the official language but it is a race, ethnicity, gender, age, religion, and so forth free way to identify people more likely than not to be here illegally. Bet we could identify and remove half the illegal population in weeks. eVerify is another way—require it for all CURRENT and FUTURE workers. That’d free up millions of jobs for American citizens and people legally authorized to work in the US. Can eVerify be used for contracts?
