...Worst commercials in a long time.

Most of the commercials were lame, or worse
I liked the BudLight?GOT conflation
The Supra commercial was outstanding

The coin toss Congress critter was John Lewis, who represents the Atlanta area.

Gladys Knight was a highlight of the evening. She certainly did a classy rendition of the Anthem, and didn't drag it out like some of the wanna-be divas who've performed in the past.

The WaPo commercial was a joke. Weren't they one of the lamestream media outlets that identified Gov Northam as a Republican?!

And is the fact that the piss water otherwise known as Bud Light is brewed without corn syrup enough to make it a recurring theme on almost all of their ads?

I did not watch it and never will again. Leftists like levine have long since destroyed the nfl.

This was NOT a “defensive battle!” This was two offenses spitting and sputtering like-waterlogged engines. They looked lethargic throughout the entire first half because they were both trying to hit the “deep strike” instead of playing their normal games - and it showed!

Brady had MINUTES to pass back there and he still under threw, over threw and looked like crap - some “goat!”

Goff was the only one pressured, but most of that was in his head - because he kept trying to wait for the long ball to open up...when he had several WIDE OPEN RECEIVERS underneath!

We actually turned off the game after the half-time show (which equally sucked) - we didn’t even see LA kick their lone score! We watched “Shane” instead!

Besides the last sonG the rest were actually hits?
they all sounded like lower B-sides from some obscure lousy bad nobody ever heard from.
Told my GF that if one of those so-called songs came on the car radio i would subconsciously just change the station without a second thought.
And those lame ass tunes were chosen for a Superbowl Halftime show?.....Unbelievable.
Then the shirt came off..

And here i thought the 100 homo’s prancing around in spandex butterfly outfits a few years ago was bad..

D’oh—John Lewis. I had the TV muted so I didn’t hear the names.

Why did he watch??? Hey, EVEN BEFORE the kneel down on the National Anthem fiascos of these whining players, I QUIT watching. I saw the very first play of the very first Super Bowl way back in the 1960s with my Dad. We always watched games together. But, four years ago, I said the hell with the NFL, the NBA, and even MLB. I barely watch MLB any more. I watch some EURO Winnie soccer. That is about it. I don’t watch college sports anymore either. I finally, in my late 60s, grew up and decided I did not need to yell at the TV screen anymore, that I had no outcome on the games, the Ref’s couldn’t hear me, the coaches couldn’t hear me, so why do it??? I finally decided there was more to life. I discovered my wife was still hear on weekends, so we do things on weekends and Monday nights. No more does all these 80 hours per week of sports rule my life. I finally gave it all up. I got a life. I decided it was time to enjoy life. The NFL was the VERY first sport I sent packing. The kneeling crap was already taken care of, I wasn’t watching anyway.

This is my question too. I took it that the boycott was over when all the fine FReepers here weighed in at great length on the “missed call”. Obviously they watched the game...

Soccer has a lot of white players.

American football is 80% black these days. 100% on most defenses. Need some affirmative action to make the nfl and nba “look more like America.”

I used to own a Beautiful maroon ‘87 Supra turbo my favorite car.
10 years, 320,000 miles engine still purred like the day i bought it.
Up until last night i had never seen a Toyota Supra commercial before...it was a good one.
On that note it is really not a Toyota but a two seater BMW Z4.
Verry disappointed...

CBS pimping themselves as “real news” was a chuckle for me. They showed worldwide events as though they’re on top of everything. Somewhat different than the day-to-day PDJT bashing.

Boring Game, unless you enjoy watching punts. But for m, punting equates with failure.

Yep, insert fake for real and then you have honesty

Thank you for your detailed and insightful analysis. Why cr*p on something others enjoy? ...just because YOU don’t get it.

I learned that fur-coat-wearing pimps driving up in Cadillacs is just a stereotype.

Adam Levine was sorely missing his auto-tune. My kids, who know his songs, were cringing at the high notes, and he was flat throughout.

SpongeBob SquarePants?
