What’s fascinating is to see the reaction of the Never Trumpers.
A tweet by Never-Trumper Allahpundit asks why Trump continues to “flog” Biden. “It helps Democrats; Biden is already slipping in the polls and seems unlikely to win; even if Biden does win, Trump could revive this next year.”
And there you see the viewpoint of the Never-Trumpers. They view Biden’s corruption through a lens of politics. They agree with the Democrats and the rest of the media that Trump is doing this for purely political reasons. They never actually entertain the idea that Trump is really trying to expose high-level political corruption in DC; that he’s actually working to drain the swamp.
That’s because when you’re part of the swamp, political corruption is perfectly normal. They're so much part of it that the only reason they can imagine for accusing someone of corruption is to gain a political advantage over a political foe. To Allahpundit and the shrinking cadre of Never-Trumpers, it's inconceivable that anyone would actually want to expose corruption for the purpose of ridding the nation of corruption.
They think that political office naturally leads to great wealth ... like it does in Mexico, Cuba, Venezuela ... and the rest of the Third World. It's a perk of office; a payoff for being an elected official who's base pay is modest by corporate standards.
They see the evil and are perfectly fine with it.
Allahpundit gets plenty of deserved abuse at Hot Air.

Here’s a reason to go after Biden, the downticket.
Let’s say Biden loses 55-45, after running an uninspiring, Bob Dole or Mike Dukakis style campaign. The Senate and House races rely on a certain profile of people turning out. Elizabeth Warren throwing out red meat to get the coastal elites out does not exactly inspire a labor union white male or a just protective government jobs black guy to go and vote for Elizabeth Warren ... OR THE OTHER DEMOCRATS ON THE BALLOT.
If you are the DNC, you may accept the possibility you wpn’t win the Presidency, but you’ll be damned if you get consigned to regional party status.

Allahpundit may just be NeverTrumpin' it; he may just be a DNC partisan (new)media shill; or he may be making a subtle attempt to expose the partial reality, which is, President Trump's continued pointing to the Bidens' obvious corruption will solidify support behind Brainless Joe's candidacy, so the DNC will lose big in 2020, even bigger than they are likely to lose in 2020. The fact that President Trump is *also* trying to drain the swamp with his continued retaliation against the PMS (Partisan Media Shills) and their regurgitation of DNC talking points is a bonus for the country, even for those who don't deserve it. A rising tide lifts all boats -- except for RINOs running for reelection, they've screwed themselves.
Another thing: he’s a bad writer. Boring, can’t put together clear and concise sentences.
Well, he lives in the bubble, always talking about what was on the Sunday morning talking head shows, and no one watches those anymore. Also, he gets excited when there is any controversy on "The View."

Ed lives in the bubble too, and both of those folks get hold of any recent pundit talking-head point, and conjecture out ad absurdum. I can't get more than halfway through either of their columns before I say: "This is just mental playing-with-oneself at this point."
Michelle Malkin, now THERE was a writer. Neither of these guys holds a candle to her.
