If the thought that your pet is more precious to you than anything else has ever crossed your mind, we are almost certain this video captured in China might make you reconsider your priorities. As much as we all love our pets, most of us probably wouldnt risk our child or any other young kid just to get our beloved pet to safety. Well, this grandma has her priorities in quite a different order, apparently. When the reckless lady noticed her cat sitting on a ledge one floor lower, the best idea for rescuing the feline that popped into her head was apparently to risk the life of her own grandchild and dangle him from the balcony on a rope Only in China, right?
I’d be more worried for the cat, as it’s likely in danger of being eaten by a neighbor.
“Cat. It’s what’s for dinner.”
“Mom? What’s for dinner?”
“Here Kitty Kitty Chow Mein. Just like every Tuesday.”
Looks as if she’s done this before with her grandson to get her cat. Probably “Hey Choi come get let me tie you in the sheet, the cat is stuck on the ledge again”

geez... what some people will do for a little pussy...
I’m thinking it was the neighbor’s cat, and she was a little short on grocery money that week.
Shame on you... ;-)
1. They always get fined for not having the cleanliness standard or wherever they are.
2. Cleaning COSTS and the Chinese (NOT ABC's) thinking is 'why bother to clean the kitchen tonight; it'll just get dirty again tomorrow?'
We used to have the CLOSED RESTAURANTS posted in a weekly newspaper. Of 30 restaurants closed because of health violations, HALF were Chinese.
The Chinese believe in luck and money. Cleanliness isn't part of their culture, past or present. That's it, folks.
DANG!
Dont forget, when you heat stuff up, you naturally kill the germs on that surface, so why bother...
No, not just in China but Germany, too.
Next time, drop granny over the side to get the cat.
Did it just not occur to her, to go downstairs and tell the neighbor she needed to retrieve her cat from their balcony?
I used to waitress in a restaurant in high school. That turned me off eating out bigly. Food was stored out back on the dirt for every varmint to come by and nibble on. The restroom got clogged with poo one day and was never fixed. The dishwasher guy was the filthiest boy in school.
Have you seen Gordon Ramsey’s shows on filthy kitchens? BARF.
People would be surprised to know health inspectors won’t travel outside the city. You can call all day long to complain about a rural restaurant and never get them out.
https://www.dallasnews.com/business/local-companies/2018/07/24/yelp-to-add-health-inspection-reports-to-reviews-of-restaurants-in-texas/ I’ve yet to see these scores. One would think Trump Tower would be inspected every hour on the hour but don’t see a score for them.
BAHAHAHAHA! :)
That’s true for most restaurants, not just Chinese places.
I know a U.S. woman who would do exactly that.
The cats in the kettle at the Peking Moon, the place that I eat every day at noon.
