I do too. But can you imagine the Presidential level optics?

“The future of American politics would be celebrity.

True. Trump has celebrity and two other things: patriotism (hugs the flag) and credibility (challenges Nato to pay their share). West has issues. Rock is dumb. Thankfully, America has many people like Trump.

Making picks like this is how we took the Reagan Revolution and put it to sleep for 30 years.
Right now I say Ron DeSantis

Uh...I don’t think so. This reminds me of all the fuss people made about Marco Rubio. People were slobbering all over themselves to be his cheerleader based on the most superficial factors (e.g. He’s Hispanic, He’s good looking, He’s articulate, He’s got an incredible story, etc.). Eventually voters found out what he really stood for, and that was the end.

Sanders would fit the paradigm of celebrity candidate better than just about anyone, right now, perhaps excluding Moochelle and Hitlery.

I’m guessing that half of America doesn’t even know who Joe Biden is, but they all know Hillary and Michelle.

So the remaining question is, which one is Biden standing in for?

As for 2020, Pence running will be about as offensive as Jeb in 2016. Likely to happen, although I do hope he’s got someone whispering in his ear, “all glory is fleeting.”

I see things a bit different as of late.

* CEO's always have a succussion plan.
* With this power couple going on every major trip and literally walking behind POTUS & FLOTUS, it hit me.

"46" is Jared Kushner.

No one sees it, I do. The interview with Doug Wead Presidental Historian noted that of all the Trump kids, the SIL impressed the heck out of him.

If you look at any major accomplishment, Jared has had a hand in it or his FIL has farmed it out to him or he has been the trusted ombudsman that has gone to the M.E. to speak in confidence, and not get the State Dept involved.

The Wall, The Israeli Peace Plan, Prison Reform, and winning in 16' all have Jared's hands on them policy wise.

He is the apprentice, and I think that slip up a few weeks ago when one of the DNC heavyweights tossed Jared's name out their in anger as someone to take over when PDJT resigned of some such nonsense, spoke what they fear. They see it too...

Maybe Kanye will become Trump's new VP after Pence leaves to preside over the military tribunals for the Deep State's leadership.

Hey, it could happen! :)

It will be a circus in 2024.

AOC will be the RAT nominee for sure. She turns 35 just in time to meet the Constitutional requirement. And like it or not, she has amazing charisma.

I am not immediately turned off by the Kanye hypothesis; but, perhaps the better anti-AOC move would be someone with personality AND gravitas.

Finally, after years of saying we need a business person in the WH, we got DJT. I say bring another one after Trump, instead of a politician.

I’ve actually thought of him too. Although some conservatives would have to overcome their hatred of him.

Ronald Reagan was one of the first people in the US to wear contact lenses.

He wrote most of his own speeches. Before giving a speech he would take out one contact lens so he could read the cards with one eye and use the other to look at the audience.
