For those Freepers who are too busy in what is left of today to read a long essay to a Socilaist Left tyrant, I say praise the Lord for giving you a rich and full life.
To those with more time on your hands, I seek your help to get answers to a 1,500 word open letter essay to a Socialist Left tyrant who is immune to criticism.

I did not count the words,but apparently you did.
Making a point should be brief and straight to the greviance .
Not filler to make a blog post.
Still could not figure how you scared the top cop with your "words".
He wrote a number of letters and emails to a local elected official and they arrested him for daring to differ with her opinion and having the sheer audacity to ask her questions.
His arrest (and reaction to it) aided one police officer in deciding to leave the force due to abuse of power by the police and the politician.
Nothing actually reading wouldn’t tell you, but a light scan of every fifteenth word makes for far pithier and cuter responses.

I read it, and you correctly report the author's account - I'm not convinced that's the whole story.
I agree completely with two previous posters. It is not at all clear from your writing what happened, other than the emotions you feel about the situation (one night in jail in 2016?) which are quite clearly painful. It is not clear what you think should happen now.
Your blog is your writing assignment. Study to write well and you will do well. You are mistaken I suspect about who your audience actually may be, especially since you admit Andrews is not.
1. Know your audience. Imagine as you write your first draft, that you are talking to that one person who knows nothing.
2. Revise for brevity.
3. Revise again this time for emotional power and clarity.
4. Revise once again for simplicity.
5. Submit to proofreader and correct all errors.
6. Publish appropriately. How is your target audience going to even see this? Please remember that blog self-promotion is frowned upon here. Furthermore vanity posts should be accompanied by a generous contribution to the FReepathon!

Maybe a dozen maybe two dozen over a week or three.
It was lobbying for memorial trees and art displays.
