Shouldn’t be too worried most retire by 60

My mom was an educator. Said that most teachers were spoiled beyond belief. She mentioned many having a sense of entitlement and that a few never seemed to grow up and were sheltered from the real world.

She loved to teach and continued to tutor kids after she retired. She always lamented that teacher unions and state education departments ended up hurting kids with some of the insane regulations and contracts that were in place.

Hope our military never develops the self-absorbed attitude of the majority of our citizens. A country that refuses to produce dies. This BS hysteria has proven that our nations is doomed. Let the spoiled brat teachers starve.

Doctors don't run the country. The teachers can strike if they think it's too dangerous.⁶

Teachers union: 'Scream bloody murder' if schools reopen against medical advice

America would be incomparably improved if the public schools were closed for two years.

Never let a crisis go to waste.

Luckily many teachers aren’t sniveling wimps like you. Including myself. Now go back under your bed.

Stop paying these idiots and watch them beg to get back to work.

I learned one thing about all this as an employer, I don’t need to pay so much or provide a nice environment. People are more than willing to do with less and without.

I despise having this country held hostage by the teacher’s unions. As well as the rest of the government employee unions.

We homeschooled & turned out a very competent and highly productive member of society. While paying outrageous property taxes to support levels of incompetency nearly beyond belief. I am speaking from first hand experience - I dealt for years with these teachers and administrators personally face to face. Nauseates me the absolute crap I had to listen to and deal with. I mean individuals as much as the “system”. Some of these people should not have been paid minimum wage. Hells bells, they should have been flipping burgers.

I want to reiterate, one on one, face to face. Insanity.

My daughter who is a high school teacher is handing out assignments and having discussions on Zoom. However not all the students have access to the internet, so that’s a problem.

My son who is a college student has been finishing out this semester online. He also has a job in physics and he is able to do that online as well.

Most schools are nearly out for summer. Very unlikely any would have students attending until next Fall. The school in my area said a week into this that there would be no attending school on campus the rest of this year. Teachers and students are doing school online in this area now.

Why are we still paying these folks?

Close them down and give vouchers to the parents of the children. Let the parents decide who should get the money.

Don’t pay teachers if they are not teaching children full time in schools. These kids are being robbed.

“Scream bloody murder...!” Yeah. People on salary have no idea what it is like for those who have to show up and put in hours to obtain their wages. People on salary are more insulated from these shutdowns.
