'Trump Derangement Syndrome': Is it real?

'Trump Derangement Syndrome': Is it real?

'You lose your filter, you lose your prefrontal cortex,' Dr. Robert Lustig explains. 'Prefrontal cortical dysfunction is the hallmark of basically all of the societal behavioral problems that we have experienced in the last 50 years.'

In the wee hours of the morning on Nov. 9, 2016, Donald Trump cemented his improbable victory by capturing enough electoral votes to secure the presidency. For Phillip Imanlihen, watching the results come in at his home in Southern California, the only thing Trump’s unlikely victory secured was a speedy trip to the bathroom.

“When the media outlet I was watching projected that he would win, I threw up,” Imanlihen tells Just The News.

Three years of Trump has made it even worse. He just can’t watch the president on television anymore.

“It's hard for me to deal with yes,” Imanlihen admitted.

His story of mental and physical anguish has become all too common since Trump took office.

“The presidency of Donald Trump has affected my mental health,” Fred Robbins from New Jersey tells Just The News. “I have cut back on watching and reading news articles because anything about Trump is upsetting."

Robbins is ready to do just about anything to make sure this president is removed from office. “I'd crawl across broken glass and vote for a tuna fish sandwich over Trump,” Robbins says.

On social media, the anti-Trump vitriol and griping reaches new heights. A cursory recent stroll through Twitter saw President Trump painted as “worse than Hitler” or “The White Devil,” one person losing sleep over him, and another even wanting to see the president drop dead and die of a massive stroke.

Perhaps a little hair of the dog would help cure TDS. With luck, once they see President Trump win this November, they will be back to normal (or as normal as the globalist left can be).

Those behavioral problems are addiction, depression, anxiety, inattention, and hate. “When your prefrontal cortex doesn’t work, all of those five go hog wild,” he says “Those are the five components that people call ‘Trump Derangement Syndrome.’”

The prefrontal cortex is the analytical, thinking part of the brain. It’s the part of the brain that evolved in humans last, as opposed to the more primitive, emotional, reaction-based part of the brain. Explains a lot.

Hard to understand anyone having TDS. Republicans put up with 8 yrs. of that loser Obama without this much trouble. At least Mr. Trump is actually accomplishing things. Dividing up the country as we have to a large extent is not solving the issue. If we are to change the party of leadership every 8 yrs., then the only way this can work to any reasonable extent is if both parties are held to the strict dictates of our Constitution. It surely is not happening at this point. There is a day coming when this world will not be divided as it is now & men need to be looking into their hearts (and the Holy Bible) & seek to come to an understanding of how this is to happen. In the meantime, the Constitution seems to be the glue that might hold this country together a little longer, but only if it is followed.

I think the term “Trump Derangement Syndrome” is cliche and cheesy.

It was funny when applied to Bush, however; the toxic level of hatred and vitriolic aggression hurled at President Trump on an hourly basis is beyond imagining.

This isn’t funny anymore. I believe the left and their proxies are waging all out war to destroy Trump and anyone who would dare serve as as a vital component to his ADMINISTRATION. ITS WIN POWER BACK AT ALL COSTS.

Praise God above that the President and his family remain safe.

This isn’t cute or funny anymore. It is good vs evil. And evil is expending vast amounts of ammunition in every level of this culture war.

TDS is a sophomoric term evil hides behind. The fact that it’s grown cliche and cheesy provides great cover for true intentions.

Agree. It is good v. evil. The dims and their media are willing to burn it all down to get rid of President Trump.

TDS sufferers should do themselves a favor.

Commit suicide.

I mean it.

These riots have proven that they are a danger to us all. Their physical elimination will be the greatest benefit to our nation.
