...The level of violence today is unprecedented, he said, to the point where people are “just afraid to sit on a porch.”

Polensek said he knows the coronavirus has made things worse, but that what he is hearing from “gangbangers” is that they don’t believe they will be arrested, that they will be released if they are taken into custody, and that the police are reluctant to confront them out of fear they will be accused of violating their civil or constitutional rights...

Wow, that is such an interesting point. I would have never drawn that connection. This person sounds really smart. Who else would have ever thunk this could happen?

It gets worse:

“Councilman Blaine Griffin asked if more could be done to hold the owners of gas stations, dollar stores and other establishments responsible for the crimes that occur on their property. Griffin called it “premise liability.” He said these businesses, and perhaps even homes that stage parties, should be required to provide security.”

So the owners of any retail business, are responsible for the criminal element targeting their businesses? And the reason is, that they should provide more security, then they wouldn’t get robbed?????

I don’t know how to deal with the reasoning ability of someone who thinks this way.

My flippant remark will be to ask, are these leaders of Cleveland all Democrats??????

Will this "security" have the right to use deadly force? If not, then forget it. Businesses which become liable will just leave.

Gee maybe if they allow them to use flame throwers and melt the bastards down that would slow down the crime wave!

If the citizens of Cuyahoga County were to elect a pro-2nd amendment, constitutional sheriff, that sheriff could deputize 2,000 patriots from the American Legion, the VFW and the Marine Corps League.

That would allow the sheriff to exercise his legal and armed muscle to pick up the garbage and properly dispose it.

The sheriff is accountable to the citizens and not to the mayor, the county council or the police chief. He has the power to arrest and investigate leftists at all levels of state, county and local governments within his county jurisdiction.

Try electing one and see how much more pleasant life becomes for you, your family and your community.

I thought this was sarcasm. He actually asked this. WTH?

And people still vote for Democrat 'leadership.' You stupid voters get what you deserve. In the words of Nanci Pelosi,"embrace the suck." You voted for it..
