Woke Capitalism: How Huge Corporations Demonstrate Status by Endorsing Political Radicalism
Ammo.com ^ | 9/8/2020 | Sam Jacobs

It’s a rather strange claim of the American far left that their interests are opposed to that of corporate America, because there’s virtually no evidence to support it. Quite the contrary: During the wave of Black Lives Matter rioting that took place during the early summer of 2020, American corporations marched in lockstep. Not only did they use social media to swear fealty to this political movement, but they also made massive internal changes in conformity with BLM propaganda.

That is because all of the Human Resources departments are staffed by zampolits.

Conservatives need to oppose the corporate cronyism of handing huge tax breaks to big companies that use their resources to force social liberalism on people.

This was really on display over the weekend during the Tour Championship golf tournament. The corporate pandering to BLM was non-stop.

The “belt loops matter” called to mind an incident from my childhood when my aunt gave my uncle a pair of sans-a-belt slacks for Christmas. He was old school and could not fathom the idea of pants without belt loops. When he got mad, his voice would get high-pitched. I can still remember: “Where are the belt loops? There’s no belt loops!”

I’m truly curious how pants like that stay up?

Not to mention how idiotic it looks; but they look like they would just fall right to the ground.
Oh well; I guess that’s like wondering why people support socialism/communism when there are 100 million people dead from it.

LOL That really nails it!

And I will cease to do business even with those “don’t really mean it” companies.

Canadian Biden/Harris voters, along with anti-capitalist Antifa & Marxist-trained BLM!

4 Sept: Daily Mail: Anti-capitalists who started the Occupy Wall Street demonstrations in 2011 have vowed to ‘draw wind’ from BLM protests tearing through the country and ‘lay siege to the White House’ for 50 days
• Adbusters called on activists to lay siege to the White House on 17 September
•The organization kicked off the Occupy movement near Wall Street during 2011
•The activists say: ‘#Whitehousesiege will electrify the U.S. election season [...] Drawing wind from #BLM, #MeToo, and #ExtinctionRebellion and protests against Trump’s lethal bungling of coronavirus’
by Ryan Fahey
The Canada-based activists claim that ‘inequality has soared’ and that ‘not a single Wall Street CEO spent a night in jail for his role in the 2008 financial meltdown’ in the years since 2011...

11 Aug: CNBC: Wall Street executives are glad Joe Biden picked Kamala Harris to be his VP running mate
by Brian Schwartz
Jon Henes, a partner at corporate restructuring firm Kirkland & Ellis who was Harris’ national finance chairman when she ran for president, told CNBC that the choice shows Biden’s strong judgment...
“Vice President Biden’s first decision is the perfect one and demonstrates his excellent judgement,” Henes said...
Mike Kempner, the founder of public relations juggernaut, MWWPR, lauded Harris’ fundraising track record.
“She has a strong and active fundraising organization. She will be an important and immediate addition to the Biden fundraising effort. She is a fundraising star,” Kempner said...

3 Sept: CNBC: Wall Street’s big tech sell-off, Biden’s fundraising record, and everything else you missed: CNBC After Hours
by MacKenzie Sigalos
WASHINGTON — Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden raised $364.5 million in August for his campaign and his joint committees with the Democratic Party, a staggering amount that exceeds any single month fundraising in previous presidential general elections.
The huge figure reflects both excitement with Biden’s choice of Sen. Kamala Harris of California to be his running mate...

11 Aug: Vox: Kamala Harris is the choice Joe Biden needed to win over Silicon Valley
The California senator has glad-handed with tech elites for decades.
By Theodore Schleifer
One particularly close bond for Harris has been with Democratic mega-donor ***Laurene Powell Jobs, the billionaire philanthropist and wife of the late Steve Jobs. When Powell Jobs was invited to speak at the annual Code Conference in 2017, she brought Harris along with her.
“I thought you would find it more interesting” than having just herself, Powell Jobs remarked onstage. On Tuesday, she tweeted that Biden had “made a great choice!”...

“As senator from California, Kamala Harris was understandably aligned with Big Tech,” said McNamee (a Silicon Valley investor). “As vice president, she has an opportunity to stand up for all Americans.”
Some activists are concerned that her personal ties to tech companies will temper serious regulations. Harris’s campaign manager for her first race for district attorney, for example, now runs the California state policy shop at Google. And Tony West, her brother-in-law, is the general counsel of Uber, where her niece worked until recently.

***Harris also has connections at Facebook, a company at the burning core of Democrats’ ire these days. She has enjoyed a particularly cozy relationship with Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg over the years, helping Sandberg market her book Lean In. Sandberg also sent her a congratulatory note when she won her Senate seat in 2016, as the HuffPost detailed...

She also tried at one point to get tough on Twitter, calling on founder Jack Dorsey to ban President Trump from the platform. That didn’t go anywhere — and Harris dropped out thereafter...

Agreed in fact we need to raise their taxes. I thin there is a connection between lowering their taxes and their moving left.

I’m truly curious how pants like that stay up?

From "Rules for Dating my Daughter:
Rule Three: I am aware that it is considered fashionable for boys of your age to wear their trousers so loosely that they appear to be falling off their hips. Please don't take this as an insult, but you and all of your friends are complete idiots. Still, I want to be fair and open-minded about this issue, so I propose this compromise: You may come to the door with your underwear showing and your pants ten sizes too big, and I will not object. However, In order to ensure that your clothes do not, in fact, come off during the course of your date with my daughter, I will take my electric nail gun and fasten your trousers securely in place to your waist.

Big corporations are looking at the distinct possiblity that BLMAntifa will be the enforcement arm of a new government in the not too distant future and are trying to make themselves friends of a very dangerous crew. It varies from the idea that the big corps can continue and even thrive if they are perceived as allies to the incipient totalitarian power structure, to please-eat-me-last fearfulness.

Yep. I've viewed their "contributions" to blm/antifa as protection money. Please let us alone as we're "down" with the cause.

When wfh ends the office will be a very hostile work environment.

they have also donated billions and billions, between the rainbow coalition and black lies matter. Reparations paid in full. Too bad it went for pretty busses and flyers and astronomically salaried ‘leaders’ instead of buying pencils or clothes or food for poor kids.
