Hundreds of people gathered Friday night outside the Supreme Court, singing in a candlelight vigil and weeping together as they mourned the death of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
The large group of mourners packed the high courts steps and the street across from the U.S. Capitol in a nighttime memorial. Dozens of people sat on the steps quietly reflecting on Ginsburgs legacy.
Scores of memorial candles flickered in the wind along the front steps of the court as people knelt to leave bouquets of flowers, small American flags and handwritten condolence messages for Ginsburg, who died Friday of metastatic pancreatic cancer at age 87 after 27 years on the court. Prayer candles with Ginsburgs photo on them were also left on the steps.
The memorial service remained mostly peaceful and somber, but turned tense for several minutes after a man with a megaphone approached people in the crowd and began to chant that Roe v. Wade is dead, a refence to the landmark Supreme Court ruling establishing abortion rights nationwide.
A large group confronted the man, leading to a brief shouting match. Many in the crowd began yelling RBG to try to drown out the mans voice as he continued to say Republicans would push to quickly appoint a conservative justice to the court.

Always do the opposite of what the Left wants.
On several levels, this is not the way my Mom raised me. There is a time and a place, and if I was mourning the death of X I'd be peeved if someone went Westboro Baptist on me.
That's said, I thought it was funny.
The pagan religion of the Left is finding their holy sacrament of child sacrifice may be in trouble.
No moron Roe v Wade is not dead but 52 million babies sure are.
This guy almost looked a little too perfect... And no one in the crowd started throwing punches, tried to bludgeon him with a blunt object, stab him, or shoot him. By leftist standards this was a very well behaived group of idiots. I think that he might have been a paid performer triggering the left for fun and profit and the crowd was in on it.
I saw the first clips of people amassing at the supreme court and I can’t for the life of me figure out what the point was? Can’t they wait for the arrangement for her body to lie in repose? Gotta be first in the virtue-signaling line? Seemed very odd to me.
I really don’t understand why abortion is SO important to the left. Things are very different today. There is no shame in out of wedlock births, women have kids and careers, girls have babies and still finish college. Shot gun weddings are a thing of the past. Birth control is cheap and easily accessible.
Why is abortion so sacrosanct?
Seems to me, it’s now just killing for convenience. Truly an abomination.
...figure out what the point was...

Riots are no longer shocking, even though they will return, as needed. For this moment in time, it suffices to emulate Nanzi with fake piety and cued tears. It bonds the mourners.
At least, that’s my current opinion.
Why is abortion so sacrosanct?

It’s a conduit of funds (often taxpayer sourced via insurance)to the Inner Party?
They still believe in selective depopulation, so it also serves that purpose and it disrupts the formation of nuclear families. Removing men from the birth decision furthers the male/female divisions.
Everything they do serves multiple purposes. Don’t look for logic from the progs. Look to their own perception of political.advantage.
