Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump continues to lose support among Republicans in the aftermath of a leaked video where he's caught making vulgar remarks about women. The most recent is former Secretary of State Colin Powell who said, two weeks before Election Day, that he is voting for Democrat Hillary Clinton.
The ongoing condemnation from across the Republican Party by elected officials has resulted in 50 Republicans who have demanded he drop out or won't vote for him, according to NBC News' count. Here's how they break out:
[cut]
Arkansas Sen. Tom Cotton said Trump "let us down again" and that his comments were "demeaning and shameful."

They are now officially Banana Republicans.

Digging up 2016 articles? Nice.
Florida Sen. Marco Rubio, who ran against Trump in the presidential primary and is now running for a second term in a race he is leading. He called Trumps comments "vulgar, egregious, and impossible to justify."
South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham said he was never "comfortable" with Trump being nominee, "I don't believe the Bill Clinton defense will work as we impeached Bill Clinton."
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell blasted Trump's "repugnant" comments.
Arizona Senator John McCain is withdrawing his support for Trump, saying "Cindy and I will not vote for Donald Trump." He said he's going to write in South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham.
Digging up Tom Cotton’s endorsements. Because of Tom’s Cotton’s comments tonight.
So that’s his reaction to millions of American citizens being disenfranchised by a fraudulent election.
This is reaction in 2020:
pssst- NBC- a heck of a lot of TRUE republicans say biden should not be president because the left CHEATED-, so stick that in yer pipe and smoke it!
SHAME ON TOM COTTON for ditching Trump over some bogus locker room talk in 2016.
SHAME ON TOM COTTON for voting to affirm election results he knows to be wrong in 2016.
And for failing to uphold the constitution.
You lost my support today. I was one of the very first to support you, and introduced you to my Arkansas conservatives friends.
It’s over, I’ll vote Democrat before supporting you. You don’t know how to fight. @marklevinshow @PressSec @realDonaldTrump @MZHemingway— David Shoup (@TheDavidShoup) January 4, 2021
I saw “NBC” and stopped reading right there. After hearing the tiny bit of Trump’s phone call with Ratburger today, carefully edited to take what Trump said way out of context and make him look bad, I’m just not in the mood for any mainstream media lies. I spent a lot of time today educating a friend as to why they can’t trust the lamestream media, why they must seek alternative news sources such as Steve Bannon’s War Room and FR, and used this outrageous edited phone tape as a prime example of exactly how the media manipulate the truth. I told him a citizen of a democratic country has GOT to be on their game or unscrupulous media and pols will stage a coup.
That’s not the reason I posted this.
Read it a little closer.
Look at the date.
Than look at Tom Cotton’s comments today.
Nothing has changed.
This Republican, a supposed constitutional conservative, doesn’t fight, doesn’t fight for the constitution.
You know things are hot when the traitors don’t even try to hide their positions anymore.
They think they are safe to expose themselves. The operative word here is safe, the reality is that the swamp, socialists, communists, anarchists, etc etc throughout history NEVER let the traitors live. Ever.
Tom Cotton, Ted Cruz - Deep State players. They’re anti-American.
Like I had done with my cheating ex-wife, I had almost forgiven Ted Cruz because I wanted to. We had so much we agreed upon. Like with my cheating ex-wife, it was a the right call to follow through with the divorce. She had never stopped cheating, she had just pretended to in an effort to fool me and our family, likewise with Ted Cruz. He’s a political slut.
Oooo, I like that.
I'm stealing it.
Nice career you had there Tom.......what a shame.
