A little more than 2 pages, basically saying to the Intelligence Community, your report on foreign election interference is not accurate, and it is also fundamentally dishonest.
Ratcliffe cites 1960-s era precedent. The Intelligence Community assessed that Russia was unlikely to deploy missiles to Cuba. The dissenter at the time was correct, and the Intelligence Community was incorrect.
About a month late
And this accomplishes what? Any one was seriously waiting for something remarkable to be released? What a joke.
Someone needs to immediately re-classify this report. Gosh darn it, Reno is unhappy.

My point is that everyone was waiting for this report to save Trump’s reelection and what we get is a 2-page summary of nothing new. Bet nothing comes of this too little, too late report that does nothing more than allow someone to check off a box that it was done.
I’m sure there are some here more knowledgeable than I. It says Unclassified at the top. So this is NOT a Declas?? Looks like something rewritten off the original report. I would think for it to be official, it would be stamped Classifed - as it was classified at one time and then some sort of declassification stamp and a signature and date. Not a fresh document. Any experts weigh in please.
Well, that was anticlimactic.
So basically this is saying that the IC, specifically the CIA, had credible intelligence that China was indeed actively making efforts to influence the election, but since it helped their guy, they suppressed it.
Treason, anyone?

I do find the former DNI Grenell’s take on things worth hearing, though.
Nothing in this statement was ever classified to begin with. It is a “generic” rejection of a classified report, citing generic rationale but not citing any specific facts.
It’s still official. It is a statement by the Director of national Intelligence. He disagree with at least some of the conclusions in the official election interference report, and he’s seen the same data.
My point is that people bitch about stuff not being disclosed, then bitch when stuff is disclosed.
I don’t see anything remarkable or new being disclosed, just a chance for him to check off box that this was “done”.
I wish I were kidding.
