Civil rights is constitutional rights for all Americans. That was 1964. The Great Society was the war on poverty...1965. The war on poverty was communism American style. Communism is evil. How complicated does it have to be to see the truth?! You do not have to examine each and every tree to realize that the forest is what it is...Either individual freedom or communism. Either an ant colony or freedom. Slavery or freedom.
“For many decades now I have been wracking my brain trying to understand how things work and why nothing seems to make sense.”
What unites the left among many disparate and unrelated groups is an opposition to the basic worldview of Christianity. Sure, they may give lip-service to being Catholic or Christian, but it is only as a marketing brand they’ve coopted for self-aggrandizement like everything else they do.
Other than that the biggest problem with trying to “understand how things work” is the assumption that the modern left makes sense.
The left is insane. Don’t try too hard to make sense of it.
Thanks. Well worth a read!
The demand to treat all cultures, no matter their success, as equal is a large part of this behavior.
Reality tests cultures and they can be rated on their success or failure.
A “science” that denies that leads to depravity.
It’s a fallen world and sin makes no sense.
However our role is not to give up but to be salt and light and love our neighbor which partly means seeking justice and just law so I continue.
Check out Arvin Ash on Quantum Mechanics. It helps.
“...it’s late and I’m tired...”. “I’m pooped.”
I’ll be generous and grant you that.
“Fundamentalist Blacks, theocratic moslems, sixteenth century Hispanic folk Catholics, scientific materialists, indigenous shamanism, hex-casting “wiccans,” and people who put up statues of their conception of “the devil.” “.
I believe I know what you mean by “theocratic moslems”. I believe I know what you mean by “indigenous shamanism” and “hex-casting “wiccans””, but I don’t see a lot of either. I don’t know what you mean by the rest. This all needs further explanation unless you’re only speaking to your “choir”.
” transgressive”
Again, I don’t know what you mean.
“What else is there that ties all these things together? “
By “these things” I take you to mean the groups you mentioned before, and the question is hard to answer without the further explanation I noted. Without that, one possible answer is “domination”. The groups want domination, either total or partial, and work together for the moment to overcome what they think is the main obstacle to that goal, after which they will turn on each other as each becomes an obstacle to the others.
“It is the civil rights movement.”
I think you need to go further back in time. I tend to believe the effort to destroy the United States has roots prior to the War Between the North and the South.
“Certainly no one can deny...”
I deny it. I might be wrong but so are you in saying “no one can deny” because I do. (Sorry, pet peeve.)
Work on it some more.
A: “First, the destruction of Western Civilization”.
I wouldn't call America "the Chosen Nation," that is Israel. However, God's inspired Word handed down to us by those above most certainly is embedded in the Constitution of these United States. And to no small extent on the teachings of Christ. Ignorance is a standard trait of every species or affiliation of man.
Wisdom is in the presence of the one who has understanding, But the eyes of a fool are on the ends of the earth.
Indeed the best tactic is to cling to Yehovah and Yeshua.
That’s an interesting commentary. Thanks, ZC. I’m not familiar with the acronym, “TFP,” though.
On many of the more high profile counterculture people being transgressive, I see that, too, but have seen it many times before. Some people are simply addicted to bothering others, that is, making other people feel bad, making people stop constructive work, etc.
I don’t know of much else to add, but there are physical brain differences on average in some nations relative to others. Some particular drugs can also cause brain differences, temporary and long term.
One more thing from old school criminology. Criminals don’t care as much as others about the consequences of their actions. They neglect to think about the future in some ways.

It’s really quite clear if you are over 60.
Many things make sense when you translate anti-white to anti-western civilization. Treat white as a proxy for western civilization and it’s values. The enemy realizes it’s more persuasive to convince people to be against racism than western civilization. The USA is peak western civilization. It also hinders the oligarchy from their desired rule over mankind.

It should read Jun 5, 2019, not 2029
Destruction of culture.
It’s a Marxist thing, and they’re very good at playing word games.
I can’t begin to understand this opinion piece without knowing what TFP means or stands for. Could you please identify this acronym?
Why is there such a motley coalition of Black Fundamentalists, Jewish groups, Muslims, Catholic groups, Protestant liberals, atheists etc.?
The simple answer is - because the US system of governance encourages two giant “umbrella” parties.
The Republicans have groups that disagree with each other, the Democrats do as well. but you pick one or the other which more or less agrees with your point of view.
you don’t see that in say the UK or Germany or Poland.
A parliamentary or proportional parliamentary system allows for variation in parties.
Truly speaking the Democrats and Republicans can be broken into
Far left - AoC, Bernie etc
Leftish - Kamala
Centre-leftish - Biden, McClain
Centre-rightish — McConnell
Rightish - Trump
etc. etc. —> and perhaps even a specific party just for environazis.
In the UK for instance you don’t have proportional representation but the GREEN party has been winning the seat of Brighton and hove for quite a few election cycles.
A proportional system like in Germany makes a lot of sense — and that should be coupled with stronger federalization and a far weaker centre for internal policies.
Take abortion - a red-button topic for me —> it should be down to the state levels to decide on that, not a federal mandate. Ditto for Welfare, Single payer etc.
