IF Trump started a new party, would you join?

If Trump were to create a new party, would you join?

I keep hearing how bad it would be and how it would 'split the vote' and hand the victory to the Democrats.

I disagree, because I think a majority of people would go with Trump.

There is currently about 25% of the country registered as GOP. That's about 80 million people.

If Trump formed a new party I would think nearly everyone who voted for him (over 70 million) would join. Plus some disillusioned Democrats AND some independents.

That would make the new party bigger than the old GOP. Their funding would dry up overnight.

The current GOP is not just office holders- there are huge bureaucracies of party officials. If NY GOP is any example, they seem to think they have permanent sinecures and the party funds are for them to host social gatherings.

The Republicans have been intentionally importing a permanent Democrat majority for 30 years.

GOP - RIP

Collective bargaining shouldn't be allowed. Not a bad idea

Only if Jared and Ivanka were banned from it.

Political parties have been destroying the nation since the ratification of the Constitution.

A third party only helps the left that mastered the ability to win every election from now on. Who or what is going to stop them? I know we say we have 75+ million trump supporters but I don't think there will be enough to bridge the gap of cheating and unpredictable demographics.

Maybe. I now have a Democrat state senator because a Libertarian garnered enough votes away from the Republican to give the election to the Democrat. I won’t join a spoiler party.

I don’t really get the reason for the question but given the choices - Trump. But I would continue to vote without a party affiliation.

I live in MA. Who I vote for doesn’t matter. The ONLY election that matters here is Selectman.

NO. It will be the first group that the leftist tyrants will round up.
I want no part of any political party. They are all corrupt and self serving.

Hubby and I both have been registered REPUBLICANS for 58 years..and we both always VOTE all elections...We raised two well educated, and successful registered Republican kids. (lol, I know because I registered them in OHIO.)

Last week I had to get new State Drivers License, as we have relocated...and I registered as NEITHER POLITICAL PARTY, AS AN INDEPENDENT..

Tomorrow Hubby goes for his new driving License, and he will also register as an INDEPENDENT and VETERAN...

And we are DJT SUPPORTERS and we will gladly go to a new Political Party...I'm actually ashamed to say I'm a Republican...
Kevin McCarthy is a terrible leader of the House...and he needs voted out of the Leadership job and his State's House Rep.

We are ready for DJT to get Rally's going again...for four years

WE ARE READY TO ROAR LIKE LIONS...LET'S ROLL.

Also, the Republicans rose at the very time that the Whig Party was dissolving, so the new Republican party was able to get a lot of support from former Whigs.

isn’t that the situation today?
