Devonta Smith recently became the first wide receiver to win the Heisman Trophy in nearly 30 years, and those who have seen him without pads on would likely be surprised at the extent to which he is capable of dominating opposing defenses. In that sense, the Alabama star is kind of like Tom Brady.

We watch the old Adam-12 show and Officer Jim Reed (Kent McCord) we call Tom Brady. Funny whenever they have to chase a guy Officer Reed is always the guy who makes the tackle. LOL

I doubt Devonta Smith will go as the 199th player taken in this draft.
Devonta is the most elegant and graceful receiver there is. Add his speed and knowledge of the game, you have a pretty good chance of a superior player.
I doubt he’ll get 7 rings.
I’m sure he’s extremely talented at football.
I never saw him play as all sports are now banned in my life.
And I used to be a “sports nut”. Politics ruins everything.
(Except an occasional track meet, and CrossFit Games)
For the last 35+ years we have had one or another of the school gyms a couple of nights a week for adult recreation basketball. Since the ChiCom bio-war attack that's been off limits and we've played outdoors weather and lighting permitting. Damn, I miss it; at my age a few weeks off means starting over with full retraining!
My hand eye coordination suffers some, but I do sprinting and plyometrics year round. I’m afraid to stop...
We only watch SEC football, rodeo and horse racing now,
I gave up my SEC football watching.
I do check the standings for SEC during the season though.
Just wondering how my Gators are doing.
