Prominent members of the Democrat party criticized Florida governor Ron DeSantis for his decision to lower flags to half-staff in honor of conservative radio icon Rush Limbaugh.
DeSantis made the announcement this past Friday, referring to Limbaugh as “an absolute legend” and “a great person.”

Governor Roy Cooper today ordered all North Carolina flags at state facilities to be lowered to half-staff from sunrise to sunset on Saturday, June 6, 2020 in honor of Mr. George Floyd.
Imagine if Republicans had been (correctly) outraged about this.

IMHO, all 50 states should lower their American and state flags to half mast in honor of Rush Limbaugh for one week...period. DeSantis should have ordered that Rush Limbaugh be laid out in the Florida Capital Building. Millions of loving Americans would have come to the Florida State Capital building to honor and respect this great American!!!

Actually, Desantis deserves the credit for this. It was BRILLIANT, considering that Rush only lived in Florida for 5 years and didn’t do jack for the state, other than paying his taxes.
He knew that the Democrats would be SEVERELY TRIGGERED and he was NOT interested in what the Pedophile Republican ‘Advisors’ had to say about doing it.
As much as I like Trump and appreciate him, I hope it’s DeSantis in 2024. We need this movement to go beyond just Trump.

Absolutely - unless the Democrats can quickly install some kiddie-porn on the Governor’s computer, he will be in a very strong position for 2024.
Trump, even in his term as president, was a bit out of it, thinking he could ‘charm’ Democrats and RINOs into supporting him. I can’t imagine him 4 years eing in much better condition than Biden is now. Even so, if he can lead a purge of the Republican Party or start his own, I’d LOVE IT!
Trump’s biggest problem, was putting together the team. Either people just didn’t want to work for him, knowing the abuse they’d take from the Left, or some of the people he hired didn’t have Trump’s best interests in mind.
I think DeSantis will put together a better team.
Trump should still be the Kingmaker and the one who fires up the troops.
