Just from reading the excerpt, it was not the Seattle Police who ‘spit in the face of Franklin Graham’ but rather the Seattle Police Chief. He obviously dances to the tune that the city government calls and I think it obvious what the Seattle City government apparently values.
After the Chief’s statement I doubt if any employee of the SPD would dare to accept the invitation.
