BREAKING: Ron DeSantis Signs Big Tech Bill: ‘These Platforms Have Become Our Public Square'

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R) signed legislation on Monday that reins back large tech giants while also supporting consumers who feel they have been wrongly discriminated against.

At a ceremony in Miami, DeSantis signed the measure, which he described as the first of its kind in the United States. His office sent the following statement in response to the bill:

Love this guy. The Dems are keeping 230 to protect Big Tech from being sued in Federal courts provided they censor their platforms. Translation provided they suppress conservative comment and any news injurious to the Dem agenda. So, DeSantis says, screw them, we will allow our residents candidates for public office to sue them in our state courts. Now Texas and the red states hopefully follow his lead.

This will be thrown out. Only Congress can regulate interstate commerce.

If this law applies only to the state of Florida, Congress has no authority.

The constitution has been badly damaged over the years, but the part prohibiting censorship is still valid.

It just needs a little clarification for some people. It appears we are slowly getting that clarification.
