Illinois Town Holds Juneteenth and Pride Parades… Cancels Fourth of July Parade and Fireworks

An Illinois town is holding a “Juneteenth” parade and a Pride parade, but has cancelled their Independence Day parade and fireworks.
Evanston, Illinois has apparently decided that only holidays celebrating our nation are a COVID risk, apparently. The town is hosting a Juneteenth celebration and parade on June 19 and a Pride parade and day of events on June 26.
Following the Pride parade, they will be holding a “Pride Community Picnic” in the park.

Wow...they cancel Fourth of July because of COVID risks but do not cancel other events, Why? Are they saying they know which events spread COVID and which don't....I could say more but Evanston is a liberal town (used to be nice) and most of what they do makes no sense

It’s obvious to me that the left is in process of destroying this country’s foundations. The people in charge in Washington are fundamentally transforming the country from /White/Christian/hetero/ to a self-hating mess that wraps itself in “pride” flags.
