According to this CBC report, Russian agents are probably directing and manipulating the protests in Canada. This was based upon the observations of a cybersecurity expert who had as much evidence of this as the intelligence agencies in 2020 had that the Hunter Biden laptop story was the result of Russian disinformation. Therefore this story must be true... at least according to the CBC.

I did see a clip from MSNBC that commented that she had seen Trump flags on some of the trucks and that even Q-anon was there. So, it really is Trump’s fault.

If by Russian Agents, they mean FBI agents, then yes they are there for two reasons. Well, three really.
#1 To agitate and derail any unified message. To induce chaos. Fortunately their numbers and logistics for this are not panning out.
#2 To study tactics for countermeasures when similar protests occur in the United States.
