So why is New York persecuting a man for defending himself?
“A clerk for a New York City bodega was charged with killing a man who attacked him behind the counter,” a local NBC news station reports. “Jose Alba remained quiet Thursday as he returned home after being released on bail following almost a week at Rikers Island. The 61-year-old is facing murder charges after police said he fatally stabbed a man inside a Washington Heights convenience store.”
However, video of the incident strongly suggests that Alba was simply acting in self-defense. You can watch it for yourself, but fair warning, it’s disturbing stuff:

The idiot DAs position is that the guy should have called the police. Not an easy thing to do when someone is beating on you.

And just think that if he didn’t have that a##hole on camera committing that crime, he would’ve been facing racial murder charges because the perps criminal girlfriend could have said “My boyfriend was just trying to help the old guy up when he fell, and the filthy white old man viciously stabbed the poor young man.”

Jose Alba should print out a couple of copies of the DA's statement, go over to the DA's house with a baseball bat, surprise him, and insert the statements in various orifices after rendering him unable to call the police.
Democrat scum despise all individual Freed and power. Self determination of any kind must be brutally oppressed.
The game will change when the victims realize that the “prosecutors” are just gang members and/or Antifa.

It’s actually very simple to understand...
The dead perp was actually ‘working for a living’, even if his work demanded that he criminally assault the store owner. “Working” for a living is not a crime, when the alleged perp is black and poor and trying to work his way up the ladder.
And, theft is not a crime in NY, or in other democrat-led cities.
The perp’s female had already attached the bodega worker and drawn blood.
Come on, now.
I hope Hochul doesn’t lose her nerve and fire him, because then Zeldin might not win the election.
