U.S. — According to recent polling data, the Americans described by Jill Biden as "breakfast tacos" are inexplicably switching to the Republican Party in record numbers.
"We aren't sure why the Latinx, who are as special and unique as a breakfast taco — or maybe a toasted cheddar chalupa — are leaving the Democrats," said Dr. Jill Biden while performing routine spinal surgery on one of her patients. "Don't they know how much we Democrats care about their vote? Perhaps we need more abortions and drag queen story hours."
Local breakfast taco Carlos Hernandez isn't convinced. "You know, I'm just not sure the Democrats really care about me," he said as he entered church on Sunday with his family.
Another local breakfast taco, Valentina Gonzalez, agrees. "I'm just not sure Democrat values are my values," she said as she fired her favorite AR-15 at the local gun range. "Am I allowed to say that?"
At publishing time, several breakfast egg rolls were beginning to think the same thing.

Grits used to be reliably Democrat voters but they switched to Republican partly by voting for Nixon and then completely starting in 1994.
The “breakfast taco” individuals quoted in the article need to read Dr. Jill’s statement again. Jill stated that the democrats care about the Latin folks’ VOTE. She did not say they care any portion of a damn about the people themselves, their families, their moral stance or their dreams and aspirations.

Cook the stone ground grits (no self respecting Southerner would EVER use instant grits), brown the shrimp in a separate saucepan. When all the water is boiled away in the grits and the shrimp is golden brown on both sides pour the contents of the saucepan into the grits. Now pour in a couple bags of grated cheddar cheese. Mix well.

I watched the whole series, and remember the taco stand. I didn’t recall him eating breakfast tacos specifically. Good to know.
the breakfast tacos were a running gag, especially between him and Dennis (Lt. Becker).
My favorite TV show of all time, Rockford. Have all the DVDs and watch them all the time. We been to So Cali a couple of times, and have eaten at the Paradise Cove Beach Cafe (aka The Sand Castle). IMO, the best meal we had while in the area.
