The Economic Lies of Elizabeth Warren
American Thinker ^ | 8/31/2022 | Paul Krause

There are few liars in the Senate as pathological as Elizabeth Warren. While this shouldn’t be surprising, what is most egregious is how she presents herself as a champion of common Americans while supporting policies that crush and enslave average Americans. Now she is deflecting any and all possibility of owning her harmful policies on economics and putting the blame solely on the Federal Reserve.

I am not a keen fan of the Federal Reserve, but it should be stated that the Federal Reserve doesn’t have as much monetary and economic power as sometimes portrayed by critics. Government policy, regulatory and fiscal legislation, as well as global economic conditions all contribute to our economic reality. It’s not just the Fed.

Warren is afraid that the Federal Reserve’s late-to-the-game anti-inflationary policies will cause a recession. What she doesn’t say, or anywhere acknowledge, is that the very policies she supports have had far more influence in harming our economy, leading to the economic stagnation and inflation we’re suffering under. This doesn’t even include the fact that we’re already in a recession.

I think that may be a bit harsh. I don’t think she’s necessary a liar so much as an idiot.

The politicians are not idiots, they are smart enough to know that most voters are idiots.

Biden has totally screwed our energy sector. His EO less than two hours after taking office sealed the deal by killing the XL Pipeline and restricting oil leases on federal lands. People are so happy that gas prices have fallen from over $5/gallon to $4.50/gallon. People are so stupid that they forget that gas prices are $2.63/gallon higher than they were in the summer of 2020.

And Dufus is making things even worse. He just increased the tax on natural gas by 50%. A friend of mine in TX just locked in his "6-month rate guarantee" at $1.24/kcf, which previously was $0.76. Biden seems to think that this will "punish" oil/natural gas producers. Where does that idiot think the money comes from to pay those taxes? He just levied a 50% tax increase on ANYONE who wants to stay warm this winner.

I hope those Democrats and ballot stuffers who put this clueless idiot in office are happy.

Absolutely correct. However we can’t do anything about global economic contritions other than providing the world with a concrete example of how to be economically strong. That begins with shuttering vast portions of government. Balancing the budget. Reducing the debt. Eliminating a majority of regulations. Abolishing the tax code and replacing it with a consumption tax. Making the US energy dominant and the world largest exporter of petroleum. Fixing our education system. Eliminating every single law that infringes on the Constitution and Americans’ God given rights.

Sure, sure. We’ve just been in a constant long term inflation trend that never stops ever since the Fed was created. But I’m sure that’s just a little coincydink.
