I have a son in the seventh grade in the William S. Hart Union High School District in Santa Clarita, California. I hope that I don’t have to spend my golden years deprogramming my son from false information being conveyed by the schools. I am trying to avoid this by keeping informed about what the schools are teaching.
My son told me that he is being taught about Islam in his history class. He said that he was taught that a verse in the Quran numbered 2:256 states: “Let there be no compulsion in religion, for the truth stands out clearly from falsehood.” My son told me that he was not taught about any other verses of the Quran which contradict verse 2:256.

Perhaps, but Islam is a billion strong and a real proselyting religion and its adherents celebrate killing for the Faith. The islamacist have a saying 10, 000 years and a billion lives which means simply if it takes 10,000 years and billion dead the Religion of the Prophet will triumph. Viewing the current western world I can understand any Muslim who is optimistic about the future.
Well, I would suggest that rather than deprogram, it might be safer and wiser to get your grandson OUT of being taught about islam. If you can’t, then William Federer is a great place to start with your grandson’s true knowledge of islam. Look him up, and here’s a good starting point:

Last I knew it was taboo to teach or even discuss religion in public schools. By extension this means islam is not a religion.
