My guess is the sorely-pissed (because he didn’t get nominated to the USSC) Garland will spew more nonsense about how something Trump did is a serious national security risk.
Technically he was nominated, he just never got a hearing. But your point is valid. Whenever I refer to him I call him; the perpetually embittered Merrick Garland.
