Twitter employees wrote an open letter yesterday claiming they help "uplift independent journalism." They then banned my friend's account after one of my Konnech articles went viral.
Twitter employees wrote an open letter yesterday to Elon Musk demanding their new leadership not fire them.
They believe "Musk's plan to lay off 75% of Twitter workers will hurt Twitter's ability to serve the public conversation."
The Tweeps say, "Twitter is helping to uplift independent journalism in Ukraine and Iran…."
Here's the letter:

Twitter employees also banned my friend's account yesterday after he posted one of my articles on Konnech, which went viral.
So much for "helping to uplift independent journalism."
Twitter employees have banned doctors, scientists, lawyers, politicians, journalists, entrepreneurs, and millions of people who oppose the establishment's narrative on war, politics, lockdowns, covid-19, elections, mRNA shots these last few years, and numerous other topics.
They censored the Biden Laptop, election fraud, and the lab leak and instead chose to spread the establishment's disinformation.
I look forward to Musk firing 75% of Twitter's employees.
He should start with all of the pro-censorship executives.
Free speech has always been the foundation of a free society.
The modern left should be ashamed of aligning with the fascists, communists, and authoritarian regimes who have used censorship throughout history as a tool to gain more top-down control over society.

If Musk gets rid of 75% of twitter employees and all the twitter bots...what will be left?
Don’t fire, just ban them.
This is “a day in the life of a Twitter employee.” No wonder @elonmusk is firing 75% of them pic.twitter.com/cAHOuni765— Libs of TikTok (@libsoftiktok) October 26, 2022
Interesting how the petulant make demands to those who write their paychecks. Just say no applies. “Only the weak apologize to the petulant”....L.Star
Evidently Twitter is severely overstaffed and pampered, so Musk is getting rid of the deadwood at the company to make it more lean and profitable. Most of these people are going to be in shock as they are given the pink slip and a I am a limited severance package as they go out the door. For many they will never get another high paying job as they have now.
They are all deleting their own histories and rewriting themselves to have been against all they enforced all along.
I love the smell of schadenfreude in the morning.
75% is a good start
He should just can everyone of them, self off the properties and hard assets, and toss Twitter on the ash heap of history, where it belongs.
i think he should keep them all on and force them to censor, cancel and ban only liberals that try to post “Misinformation” there (As determined by an ultraconservative board of course) as punishment for being lamebrained liberals who think censorship is cool-
“I don’t like the tone of that letter so I’m upping the clean-out to 80%. Send me another whiny-ass letter and it’ll cost another 5% their jobs. I can do this all day.”
That’s how new CEO Justatech would handle the situation. Which is probably why I was Justatech.
Not sure how Twitter is structured. Surely upper management will be culled as it always is in corporate buyouts. Twitter also has indicated in the past that they were hiring workers specifically to police their ‘content rules’ — and that department will undoubtedly get shut down and the workers let go. I seriously doubt that this adds up to 75% of their workforce.
As far as the people writing the AI code that automates the censorship — those people will most likely be re-assigned unless they kick up a fuss.
Well, duh.
“Musk is getting rid of the deadwood at the company “
There are jobs for them at the fast foods.
Twitter’s executive censors no doubt have connections to the alphabet agencies - Musk may come to learn they are unfire-able - unless he wants to invite a massive SEC probe of Tesla’s financials…
