The Brief: Morally Bankrupt – How The Biden Campaign, FBI And Media Censored The Laptop Scandal On Twitter (Gregg Jarrett podcast - 30 min)

Gregg is joined by cybersecurity attorney Brian Finch.

Just weeks before the presidential contest in 2020, the surfacing of Hunter Biden’s laptop posed a mortal threat to Joe Biden’s chances of getting elected. Incriminating emails contained therein offered compelling evidence that the father was complicit in his son’s elaborate influence peddling schemes involving nefarious foreign actors who were paying millions of dollars for access and promises of favors.

So, the Biden campaign team and Democratic operatives —with a key assist from partisans at the FBI— applied pressure on the social media giant Twitter to block the story. The predominantly liberal staff at the tech company happily capitulated. They invented a farcical pretext that the laptop was “hacked,” strictly forbid any mention of it on their site, suspended the account of the New York Post that had broken the story, and punished anyone who dared share it by banishing them from Twitter. These disgraceful actions constitute unwarranted censorship at its ugliest. And it worked. Like a charm. Biden was elected.

Elon Musk, the new owner of Twitter, has now wisely resolved to pull back the veil of secrecy by releasing the so-called “Twitter Files.” They expose the insidious machinations of those who suppressed the story at the behest and request of others. They are an important window into how powerful entities held sway over America’s predominant social media platform to crush a scandal. Musk should be commended for his effort at transparency in order to rebuild squandered trust.

The Twitter docs offer a damning indictment of how top executives at the company slanted content moderation decisions to favor and protect Biden to the disadvantage of his political opponent, whom they loathed. Communications show that Twitter acted on a variety of censorship demands by Biden’s presidential campaign. There was no credible evidence that the laptop was hacked, mind you. Russian involvement was non-existent. The newly liberated files prove that Twitter officials well knew it and voiced concerns internally. Yet, they clung to that phony excuse, in part, because the company’s deputy general counsel James Baker urged them to do so.

Biden has already threatened to use the govt hammer
to investigate Twitter exec Musk on multiple occasions,
which isn’t surprising considering its unprecedented reveals
about crackhead ne’er do well Hunter Biden and antagonizing about free expression.

<><>BIDENs using TAX PAID Office, Taxpayer Funds and Govt Employees to suppress AMERICANS

<><>BIDEN engaged in Fraudulent Conveyance of Services and misuse of tax dollars

<><>BIDEN, in 2020, used unconstitutional methods to suppress the vote,

<><>BIDEN used his Official Capacity in a criminal fashion,

<><>BIDEN is looking at Civil Asset Forfeiture for profiting from HIS Criminal Enterprises.

Keep in mind

“Lunchbox Joe”” is not the grinning hapless everyman he displays to us peons but
(1) a devious, calculated shyster who will do any thing to win
(2) with his obsessive fixation on manipulation of facts
to hide his ne’er do well family from public scrutiny.

Not to worry.

To some, this “Hunter Biden Stuff” is all a useless and worthless sidebar, and that by talking about it, we aren’t doing the real work of getting a non-Democrat elected.

We have people here on this very website who insist that we shouldn’t worry about media collusion with a weaponized goverment, gripe about election fraud, or support Trump in 2024.

They tell us that our problem is in not getting out the vote, not being involved aggressively enough with ballot harvesting, and not exploiting deliberately introduced integrity holes in the electoral process the way the Left does.

FBI agent’s testimony implicates headquarters brass in social media censorship
Just The News ^ | December 7, 2022 - 11:07pm | By John Solomon
Posted on 12/8/2022, 10:47:48 AM by Red Badger

Elvis Chan estimated social media companies took censorship action 50% of the time when FBI asked.

An FBI agent’s testimony in a freedom of speech case confirms that the bureau ran an operation during the 2020 election that requested social media companies remove content as disinformation, suggesting the government’s requests succeeded about half of the time and were conducted with a “headquarter stamp of approval.”

Elvis Chan, the FBI assistant special agent in charge of the Cyber Branch in San Francisco, told lawyers for the Missouri and Louisiana attorneys general in a lawsuit over social media censorship that he supervised a “command post” in his home city that helped the nationwide disinformation censorship operation function in fall 2020.

Snip.....rest on FR

Laptop scandal? Laptop scandal?

How about, the sitting president of the United States colluding with the enemy and treasonously overthrowing a sitting president, and taking bribes while in high office, and blackmailing and coercing other foreign powers for purposes of self enrichment at the expense of the US people?

Let's call this what it is, enough to hang the sob and many of his allies.

Obama / Biden Govt in Exile——Ran Covert Operations:

<><>recall that Biden family corruption was the worst kept secret in Washington,
<><>this threatened to derail Biden’s third try
<><>aggressive steps halted media coverage of Hunter Biden’s laptop from hell
<><>whose shady extensive overseas business arrangements profited the family.

<><>in 22019 she blasted the NYT’s quasi-critical piece WRT Hunter’s multimillion dollar paycheck from Burisma
<><> and his vp father’s try to stop the Ukrainian govt’s inquiry into corruption, calling it a “baseless conspiracy theory.”
<><>In a scorching memo to the media in Jan 2020, Bedingfield and Antony Blinken instructed reporters about how to cover Trump’s (correct) allegations regarding VP Biden’s successful demand in 2015 to fire a Ukrainian prosecutor investigating Burisma.

The Left, across the board, is morally bankrupt.

From the black preachers who are the puppet masters to the communities they’re supposed to serve, out-of-touch..aloof...pretentious...hypocritical....selfish...snobby hipsters in the cities and elsewhere, the aging liberals and hippies that are just like their younger hipster prodigy and the power hungry politicians, corporate exec’s, consultants...name it. They do not care. Not even a little bit.

Remember when Nixon tried to coverup his Watergate crimes and was forced to resign from office?

It’s like that.

Back then the GOP in Congress went to Nixon and told him he should resign or they would impeach him. This was the start of the RINO stampede.

I would take Richard Nixon, hands down, over every single Democrat and 90% of the Republican politicians right now.

Half of the nation’s population are morally bankrupt. What’s even worse, they are looked upon as the ones to admire, not the ones who have morals.

Well, “Lunchbox Joe” may be able to do a lot in our present world to keep him on top under dubious conditions at best, but in the end he will have to answer to God the ultimate judge. Unless things change, I suspect this will not go in his favor. Most folks would be in favor of ending his undue influence long before that time. In fact, several years ago would possibly not be considered soon enough.

Remember when Nixon tried to coverup his Watergate crimes and was forced to resign from office?

This is far worse than Watergate. This is the rigging of a presidential election that likely changed the outcome and installed a corrupt politician as president who has long been accepting bribes from multiple foreign entities.

The funny thing is that we patriotic Americans are damned if we do and damned if we don't.

The Left engages in political crimes because their ideology, socialism/communism, is their religion and, as such, its end justifies any means (i.e., crimes).

To make matters worse, any chaos that results from their getting caught is just fine by them because one of their many ways of destroying our existing system of government is the creation of such chaos.

And just as I was bemoaning the fact that the FBI is destroying whatever remaining faith we might have in that institution, I realize that another way the socialists/communists have of destroying our system of government is to demolish our faith in government institutions (in this case the FBI).

It's a lose, lose for us...and a win-win for them.

Yes. I remarked on another thread the other day about Trump's post that just drove people up the wall regarding the Constitution.

I opined to someone who was aghast at Trump, who took issue with me for not condemning the statement and thus breaking an oath that many of us have taken:

I had someone on another thread remark that they took an oath to uphold and defend the Constitution.

I took that oath as well. And I take oaths seriously.

However, observing a Constitution that is wholly broken and ignored by lawless people is not strength, honor, or duty, it is weakness, even to the point of craven weakness.

It is even a more egregious and disgraceful weakness when those who abuse, degrade, and ignore the Constitution use the inherent goodness and honor of those who oppose their malignant intent to fully exploit their opponent's respect for that law as a weapon against them.

Opposing those people and fighting for the full observation of the Constitution of The United States in order to uphold it is the honorable thing to do. Failure to do so is dishonorable and the breaking of the oath.

I would like to think we all think that way. At this point, many of us disagree on how to fight against them. Eventually, we may be pushed into a corner and be forced to fight back.

A warning we must heed is that Liberty squandered and lost is far, FAR more difficult to regain than Liberty that is fought for while it is possessed. I pray we can find common ground before we squander and lose what Liberty we have left.

They use our inherent respect for the rule of law as a weapon against us in order to undermine and eventually destroy the Constitution. I don't think we should fight illegality with illegality.

But I belive we should fight back if we must.

Our Founding Fathers understood that all too well, and even put their necks on the line by signing the Declaration of Independence which clearly spelled out the responsibility of citizens to reject a lawless government.

I side with them.
