Despite even some Democrats criticizing Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg's response to the East Palestine, Ohio train derailment, the Washington Post chose to ignore that and focus in on Republicans who are "seizing" (formerly "pouncing") on the accident to attack poor Buttigieg. Reporters Yasmeen Abutaleb, Ian Duncan, and Justine McDaniel acted more as a Buttiegieg defense team than as journalists on Wednesday in "Republicans seize on train derailment to go after Buttigieg."

This “guy” didn’t do squat about that derailment. Nothing. 100% reason enough to fire “him”.
The Democrats used a storm where much of the actual casualties were caused by a Democrat to attack Bush. There were no actual failings on Bush’s part but there have been on Buttigieg’s part. If I made a mistake at my job I’d expect people to complain and I’d be held to count.
There we go seizing again. Pretty soon we’ll be pouncing
WaPo could have chosen to do actual journalism and investigate puttblug's incompetence, but no, the story these nose picking tards went with is "Republicans pounce". I mean, "seize".
This is why dems love putting buttjuice and other diversity hires in charge of things. They want the country to fail and they can totally get away with it as they put people in place that automatically have criticism free kryptonite shielding where anybody who even thinks of criticizing them becomes an instant ist or phobe
And the WaPo has no problem with the dems “seizing” on the train derailment to blame Trump.
Both parties are politicizing this accident
*** Perhaps he was afraid of angry crowds or maybe even breathing the air.***
It’s important that photo ops not backfire. Mayor Pete was conflicted because he wanted to wear a gas mask to protect himself, but showing up in one would give ammunition to the opposition. So staying away until *the dust* settled was the decision, and he would blame it on Trump to cover his tracks.
If Butteredbutt isn’t responsible for transportation issues, why did he take the job of transportation Secretary?

*********
I don’t like Buttigieg either; but when he took the job, he had no power to prevent “hot wheel” accidents like this that are an inherent part of the railroad business. And he would have accomplished nothing useful by going there for photo ops as Trimp did.
Americans to the wapo- OF COURSE we are seizing on it because he FAILED our nation miserably in a time of great need- so didn’t his commander in chief!
That is what is supposed to happen when leaders fail the nation, they get called out for it! Wapo d9ing it’s little foot stompy act for being caught not doing their job by calling out Pete speaks volumes about their radical left wing bias
The only thing “seized” is Biden’s brain, and Fetterman, and Feinstein....
No one is telling the truth about what chemicals were in the tankers that went off the rails. The story of polyvinyl chloride suggests the chemicals were precursors for newly manufactured products. What I’m hearing is that the chemicals were toxic waste chemicals from a Dow chemical plant in Madison, Illinois. Why in the world would they move and where were they moving toxic waste products on the rails is anyone’s guess. It’s like everything else today, the true story is either not being told, it’s being covered up, or it’s misinformation - maybe some of each.
LOL. I guess a gas mask was better than his first choice…….a giant plastic bubble.
If it was toxic waste, it probably was going to an incinerator or possibly to a shipping port to go overseas to be incinerated.
I remember here sone years back when they were removing chromium contaminated dirt. I asked what they were doing with it and they told me they were shipping it to a treatment facility in Europe.
AMEN
I recall that MSM was dumping this on Trump.
Buttigieg might actually wear a pink slip.
