When I was a child in the 1970s, we were constantly being scared by mainstream news sources about the upcoming ice age that was being predicted.
It was absolutely terrifying.
Fortunately, the predicted ice age never came.
The global warming that we are experiencing today is far preferable to the upcoming ice age that was being predicted by every mainstream news source in the 1970s.
I am so, so very glad that those predictions did not come true.

Tell everyone in the California mountains that it’s “warming” and they’re gonna be sitting in their lounge chairs in summer weather real soon.
They’ll get back to ya soon as they can dig out from the 12’ snow drift covering their crib.
I’m counting on global warming making the winters more agreeable here... I hate the cold.

We are in an inter-glacial period.
The Cold is coming.
But I don’t trust anyone to tell me when it is coming.
And I certainly don’t trust anyone that tells me that human activity has any influence on climate change.
And boy are they ever burning those eveeel fossil fuels to stay warm and get supplies trucked in.
When I was in Third Grade in New York (1957) I came home from school in tears of fear one day because we had learned of the coming Ice Age. I was terrified.
My mom gave me a bowl of ice cream and told me not to worry because that wasn’t going to happen for a very long time...
...besides, she said “We’re moving to California”.
Hoax ice age and hoax boiling oceans only proves the climate hoax.
What’s amazing is the staying power of the hoax of GloBull Warming. The pinkos simply won’t give it up!
And the acid rain. It’s bad and getting worse. We’re not going to be able to crow any crops after (pick a date 1995?)
That’s where we old people have it all over the impressionable youth. They’ve not experienced these completely wrong predictions of doom for decade after decade, only to see them forgotten by everybody but us.

For most of my adult life, I have said that global cooling is a lot more dangerous than global warming. I grew up without air conditioning, and that wasn’t fun, but it was doable. I can’t imagine winters without a heater to heat me. Fireplaces are great, and I love them, but central heat is far more important to me in the cold months than A/C is to me in the summers. Even in Florida or Texas. Go jump in a pool of water and you’re fine. The South can live just fine without A/C, but the north is miserable and deadly without heat.
They’ve got Gen Z totally brainwashed, so why would they? They can implement any Marxist fantasy they desire in the future just by claiming it will save Gen Z’s homes from sea level rise.
