CNN Panelist Drops the Hard Truth About Biden's Speech at the White House Correspondents Dinner

Saturday night’s White House Correspondents Dinner was exactly what you’d expect it to be. Namely, it was a partisan cluster filled with journalists cosplaying as celebrities that seal-clapped for Joe Biden even as he mocked them for their slavish devotion. Well, it was that and also yet another example of the president’s ever-diminishing mental capacity.

The pathetic nature of that scene wasn’t lost on everyone, though. Scott Jennings, who offered his critique on CNN of all places, pointed out how pathetic it was for the press to clap along to a president making fun of the fact that they are completely in the tank.

The line that will stick with me is “In a lot of ways this dinner sums up my first two years. I’ll talk for 10 minutes, take zero questions, and cheerfully walk away.” For the journalists in the room, he wasn’t laughing with you, he was laughing at you. The reality is, I think he’s mocking the press. The guy does not take questions, and he’s up there joking about it. And I’m just, and they’re clapping and they’re laughing about it.

...they cackled at his badly read jokes (sometimes having to fight the teleprompter to get them out). He was laughing at them. The president sees the press as a subservient class of pawns that exist simply to prop him up amidst his failures.

That would be bad enough, but what makes it so much worse is that members of the press happily play their part.

I was awestruck. He talked about a FREE PRESS. But none of the Press Corps could openly ask about Hunter’s Laptop, and no one dared call him out about the 51 FBI people that Blinken ordered to lie.
The press covers his behind, they are an incestuous group. They support each other, and keep the American Electorate in the dark. Just like they want.

Reminds me of when his ""doctor"" wife was talking and he look backwards and just walked off while she was still pontificating. Ice cream truck? A cute little girl with nice hair? What? And who can forget when at the microphone he walked over to shake hands with NO ONE? The old fart is a total frigging mess.

I so wish we knew who is pulling his strings besides his ductor Jill wife. We can speculate that his puppet masters are Obambi, Susan Rice, and other Hussein operatives. They are just too damn deep/dark operatives that we may never know.

Unfortunately, it isn’t the press Biden was mocking - it was the American people.

Critics of the Left who complain that the MSM is beholden to the Democrat Party may have it exactly backwards: The Democrat Party is made up of politicians hand-picked by the MSM - so who is beholden to who?

So, the reason why the MSM laughs at Biden holding no press conferences and taking only softball questions, is because Biden is behaving exactly according to script - their script.
