Today, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis traveled to the southern border, where he was met by sheriffs from Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, and across the country who conveyed the urgent need to secure the border.
While in Arizona, Governor DeSantis highlighted Florida’s successful actions to combat illegal immigration within the state and along the southern border.

Oh, come on. If Trump did this same thing you’d be clapping like a seal.
Even RFK Jr is talking about sealing the border. It’s an easy position to take now that they are flooding in and causing a crisis. When is DeSantis going to elaborate on his position regarding Ukraine? That should be near the top of the list but he purposely avoids talking about it to any extent.
Impeachment due to dereliction of duty should have started yesterday.

Might be going too far. Governor Pete Wilson(Calif.-1990-1998)got reelected on a similar platform. He left the Calif. GOP in shambles. There was prop 87(No welfare for illegals-something like that). Courts struck it down. Might had been other anti-immigrant things of which I can’t remember.
In order to seal the border U.S. military force is going to be necessary, which means deadly force. These alien hordes will be stopped with nothing less. In order for the military to engage with deadly force on the border, someone or Congress is going to have to decommission or suspend Posse Comitatus. Unless and until that person is able to do so uncompromisingly, they are just blowing smoke, I don’t care who the hell they are. Enough with contracting out the security of our nation to some cardboard political alphabet federal “agency” that can be eliminated with the stroke of a pen.

Exactly. It’s no longer just a question of closing the border it’s also a question of what we are going to do with all the illegals already here. Will DeSantis deport them or allow them citizenship? That’s what I want to know.
Ron is full of doo-doo.his shipping illegals around the country is aiding in getting surplus to areas that will effect elections. I saw it a decade ago in az where they were signing up for free govt helps and voting. I forget the name of the org but many out there aiding in the demise of usa and Ron is doing it too.
Take away Birthright Citizenship and about 99% of the women stop coming.
Take away their ability to put their kids in an American Elementary school and get free breakfast and lunch, and they stop coming.
End the refugee resettlement programs. And send the ones that are here, back to where they came from.
Implement the Entry/Exit Visa system and track folks down.
Put a moratorium on all student visas for at least 15 years.
Form nationwide law enforcement take forces to hunt and get rid of the cartels and gangs.
No military force needed.
Rather than an Anti-Illegal Immigration Coalition have him pick up the baton from Tennessee about Medicaid payments being forced on to the taxpayers.
People here will abandon every conservative principle they've ever held if it means opposing DeSantis.

more will come into FL and taxpayers pay for big boy Ron to look like he is doing some thing good (getting them out of FL) but in reality he is helping those who want to be sure USA falls deeper toward destruction. AND Ron is just passing the buck without really doing some thing to stop the root of the problem. This new plan of his will just be more of same talk tough but not accomplish anything.
Trump at least was building actual wall, empowering border patrol.
Is there anything at all Ron has actually done (not just sign papers or talk) to thwart invasion? send them back out of country?
