Video: Maui: The Shocking Truth Told By Hawaiians

The Hawaiian wildfires, which began on August 8, killed more than 100 people and burned over 2,000 acres in Lahaina, as well as hundreds of acres in Kula and Olinda on the island of Maui. The resulting destruction of homes, businesses, infrastructure and loss of tourism may result in up to $6 billion in economic losses, according to an estimate from Moody’s. A motion from the plaintiff’s attorneys says they want “to bring similar claims against additional defendants for their own conduct that caused and/or contributed to the fire.”

Government-orchestrated societal terrorism, that’s what it is? We just honored the dead of 9/11. Did our government allow that Saudi terroristic attack to occur just to cover their staged demolition? Buildings falling straight to the ground on their own footprint suggests to me that all the ‘legs’ were cut at the same time. Detcord can do that. I cut the legs off a water tower in the Marine Corps once with detcord.

The Saudis were at best very junior partners on 9/11 IMO.

And yes, the greatest horror always comes when one realizes the danger is from within.

I kinda have to agree with you
here, and have always been
perplexed by the total collapse
of both towers.
I worked for a well known structural
engineering company, and it was
explained to me that individual
floors of a hi-rise are structurally
able (designed in) to maintain
integrity should any section in
that structure become damaged unless
50% min support structure failed.
Initial impact of the planes I
saw, daccelerator.
50% demolition
of a single floor.
Fire safety is another area where
it seems to me, where things just
don’t add up. This type of building
is also designed to “direct” any
major flame events to designated
routes where fires cannot survive
due to fire blocks in the structure
where oxygen becomes depleted.
A fire might burn all combustibles
on a particular floor, but won’t
transfer to the floor above it,
and it certainly won’t burn hot
enough to jeopardize the integrity
of structural steel. Even with
the addition of jet fuel as an
accelerant.

The World Trade Center towers did not have a conventional steel space frame construction. The exterior walls and floors were the structural elements that held the building up. The gaping holes from the impacts severely weakened theit structural integrity. The fires were not consuming only the contents of building, but were fueled mostly by the jet fuel. Once the floors above the impact zone softened due to the heat of the fire, the buildings could not hold the weight of the floors above.

Thanks for injecting some logic into the conversation.

So many people just can’t accept it. Even now.

The conspiracy argument against airplanes on 9/11 has been the melting point of steel in the twin towers.

Sure, the temp at which steel turns into dripping liquid is pretty high. But, the temp at which steel becomes pliable is lower than that. People don’t seem to get that.

Not familiar with detcord. Can you explain what it is and how it works?

What makes detonation cord (detcord) so popular in demolition work is that it is relatively lightweight and stable to transport, comes in a flexible rope form, and in different diameters and explosive strengths. It can be wrapped around almost anything. It also is used as a fast-acting fuse to connect and detonate other forms of higher-energy explosives and shape charges. It is a favorite quick tree-cutting method to open LZs for choppers in heavily wooded terrain. You can unspool the cord quickly, wrap it several times around a number of trees, and use the cord as a fuse to connect all the trees together and cut them down all at once. When I was in training my demolition instructor and I downed a water tower at the Basic School, MCB Quantico that was beyond its useful life. That goes back many years (’69) now.

Another thing to think about is that with upper windows blown out, the towers were pretty much functioning as a rocket stove.

Thank—you for the explanation. Knowledge of detcord is probably not widely known.

Thanks for the explanation,
and I stand corrected in lieu
of different construction practices,
with the added presence of diesel
fuel as accelerant.
The question I asked about fire
safety (directed at the engineer)
was asked long before the sad
events of 9/11.
