The DUmmie FUnnies CALLED IT! The DUmmie FUnnies CALLED IT! The DUmmie FUnnies CALLED IT!
Yes, on the afternoon of November 8, 2023 the DUmmie FUnnies accurately CALLED IT when it stated that Vivek Ramaswamy should DEMAND that toxic grifter RNC Chairwoman resign due to pathetic incompetence. Hours later at the GOP debate of the Keebler Elves in Miami, that was EXACTLY what happened. Perhaps Vivek read my suggestion in the DUmmie FUnnies or maybe I am a latter day Nostradamus. Now back to rubbing my Jeane Dixon Crystal Ball...
When Will Useless Grifter Ronna ROMNEY McDaniel be FIRED?
This just proves that Vivek has a DU account.................
PING!
Good work.
I don’t understand why anyone wants to fire McDaniel.
She is being paid by the big financial backers to fail and fail and fail.
That is her job.
She deserves a raise!
;-)
Trump backs her b/c back in 2016 he was losing Michigan.
McD was then the Repub chair.
She pulled it together for him.....Trump won Michigan.
Hey—it is like any other job—”What have you done for me lately?”
Try bragging to your boss what you did in 2016 and see how it works for ya....
;-)
That’s exactly how politics works......you nailed it.
Yet, Trump has backed her RNC reelection a couple times.
Not soon enough.
Jean Dixon?
you are as old as i am
Jeane Dixon was hyping her VAGUE prediction about the JFK assassination for years. Meanwhile she had TONS of WRONG predictions. Of course, she only highlighted those FEW predictions she thought she got right but only if you bought into her interpretation of what her predictions supposedly meant.
Chairman’s job is to raise money It’s up to candidates to win elections by using that money. Trump wants his unfair share.
I think the Chairman gets to hand out the money as well, correct?
“that toxic grifter RNC Chairwoman”
“Toxic grifter.” Perfect description.
“I think the Chairman gets to hand out the money as well, correct?”
I think that’s true. And I heard on Charlie Kirk today that last night she was overheard telling someone that Vivek “won’t get one penny” (or similar words) from the RNC.
She also withheld funding for Kari Lake in the AZ election. She sent ONE single attorney to “help” Kari in the aftermath of the fraudulent election.
She’s vicious.
It’s good to be Queen.
Exactly.
Her apologists need to start dealing with reality.
Ronna McDaniel was Trump’s pick.
At the national level, the GOP has a simple confederational structure. The members of the RNC are elected by their respective state parties. They elect their own officers and manage the necessary business of the party at the national level in the intervals between national conventions. The RNC is essentially an executive committee of the convention.
The rules under which this is all done, however, are NOT established by the RNC. The rules are established by the ultimate governing body of the Republican Party as a national confederation — namely, the Republican National Convention.
The delegates to the Convention are of course elected by their respective parties, generally in the primary elections but sometimes in state conventions or caucuses as determined by state party rules. The state parties are self governing.
The quadriannual convention is “the party assembled in convention.” So I would respectfully ask the complainers, who the heck else do you think should make the rules?
I know, I know ... that’s a rhetorical question. Right now a lot of people seem to think the rules should be dictated by Donald Trump, announced via Twitter, and be subject to ongoing ad hoc change on the same basis. The spirit of Bonapartism runs strong.
But that brings us back to Ronna McDaniel. The historic tradition of the RNC is to accept the choice of an incumbent Republican president. It isn’t bound to do so under the rules; that would mean that the RNC chairman is appointed, not elected. But the tradition is to defer to the wishes of an incumbent Republican president. I don’t know if there has ever been a case when that wasn’t done. Could be, but I don’t know of an instance.
Ronna McDaniel is Trump’s pick. If you think she has been a disaster, fine ... but connect the dots. Trump’s record on appointments is less than stellar except on judges, where he deferred to the Federalist Society. But on his own? A mixed bag with the Mooch as an example that may never to topped.
I know that some freepers have served as county chairmen. Some of us (not me) have probably been delegates (actual voting delegates, not guests, who are honorific) at the national convention. You know how this works. I’m not trying to lecture you. But there is a lot of misguided venting about the RNC. If you despise the leadership of the party, direct your complaint at the people who elect the county chairmen and state and national convention delegates. If you don’t know who these people, get the registration list from your county chairman next cycle, walk a few precincts knocking on doors, and ask your Republican neighbors to vote for someone else.
