There’s some real anger spilling over at the Daily Wire this week but I think it’s fair to say this has been building up for a while now. Ben Shapiro, the co-founder of the Daily Wire, has obviously been one of the most outspoken defenders on Israel online. Candace Owens works there as one of their most prominent voices but she’s taken a very different view. For instance, she has argued that the charge of anti-Semitism has been “weaponized” to silence people.

She’s right. Anti-semitism has been weaponized to fend off criticism of liberal Jews who have aligned themselves with Karl Marx in order to have worldwide slavery under socialism.
I think Shapiro is, out of his own vested interest, is only seeing one side of anti-Semitism. I do know that there are those who hate Jews, because they are Jews.
But see…I understand that point, but she seems confused on the protection of Israel against Hamas?
Why is she seemingly jumping on some type of “anti-war” bandwagon.
Both need to put the social media down, although it’s looking like Ben is taking a few points from Trump on how to publicly deal with this…oh the irony for him.
The Daily Wire is about to become the next Bulwark magazine.
Who cares what she thinks? She is so angry.

I agree with Queen Rania’s assertion that antisemitism is being weaponized in order to silence critics and bully people into compliance.
That Charlie Kirk, Elon Musk, and Thomas Massie have recently been smeared as antisemites is proof of this charge.
This is the same behavior we saw from Black Lives Matter activists when the threat of being labeled a racist or a white supremacist was being used to shut down legitimate questions about the funding and intentions of the organization, which in time proved to be fraudulent.
I think the main issue from a domestic (U.S.) political perspective is that the "compliance" she references includes the expenditure of billions of U.S. taxpayer dollars to support a foreign country (Israel) that should be perfectly capable of defending itself.
The benchmark right now for anti semitism is extremely low on the right at this moment
On the other hand anti semitism in the Muslim world and amongst the intersectional left is alarming no question

I see some nuance of the issue. Support for Hamas is, by their own charter, anti-Semitic. I think calls for a cease fire or pause or whatever are de facto support for Hamas so it is not necessarily wrong to label them anti Semitic. What I don’t agree with is the idea proffered by the usual warmongering suspects, that failing to gift money and weapons is anti semetic.
In the long run we are not a reliable partner and Israel would likely be better served by decoupling from the US anyway. Our weapons help them militarily but our policy seems designed to keep the status quo.
Owens isn't 'confused' about anything, but maybe you are. Try watching her interview with Carlson for clarification.
I am not as much of a fan of Owens as I was when she started with TPUSA but she seems more grounded in this spat. It’s all a distraction and very Leftist “let’s see you and him fight while we enjoy the spectacle.” They love to stir conflict over conversation.
I disagree with Candice on this point. When one side commits a horrendous crime, then the gloves must be allowed to come off, and perform the surgical removal of a source that will never change their goals of actually performing a killing genocide if they can get the necessary items needed to carry it off.
Israel showed restraint by providing time to vacate the area of innocents.
Problem was, Hamas would not allow them to leave. Their choice became die from Hamas as you try to leave or become martyr's by staying with a possibility of coming out alive.
The Israeli's are not trying to perform a genocide, they are trying to take out the cancer with the least possible damage to others remaining in the region.
