I remember my brother shot a chipmunk when he got frustrated because my other brother was having a really good day hunting squirrels for supper.
My Dad made him skin it and clean it and Mom fried it up for him to eat that night.
Dad’s rule was that if you killed something you had to eat it.

Definitely ChipmunksIf you park in your garage, keep the door down and seal it.
If you have to park outside, then Que Sera, Sera.........LOL!
Sorry bro, I laughing because a good senior friend of mine has had squirrels chew his cables on two separate occasions. The last time costing approx. $3,500..........

I’m regularly out in our property’s flower gardens and “natural areas” repairing our damaged drip irrigation lines because these little guys enjoy gnawing on them.

Found a dead squirrel in my half-filled rainbarrel the other day.
Didn’t mind them so much at the bird feeder, but now they’re trying to get into my attic, not so much sympathy.

Thanks for the info. We got chipmunks that leave nuts in my moms air cabin vent filter/fan. They also get into her garden and are a genera nuisance.

They’re Jewish chipmunks?

I had a neighbor once who fed a certain squirrel regularly. Became almost pet-like; named him Peanut. One spring, she mentioned to me that Peanut no longer came around. When we opened our pool later that spring, there was Peanut, floating there dead as a door nail. We never told the neighbor; didn’t want to break her heart.

He’ll be buying a couple Havaheart traps for his cute little friends after they get under the hood of his car and use those teeth on some wires and hoses. Next to nuts they love that rubber insulation on engine wires to gnaw on.

Bucket trap has been the only successful way to rid the yard of this kind of rodent
